- Hey guys, You may ask yourself, "What does a welding channel have to do with an RV"? Well, as you know, many welders have to travel for work or be away from home for long periods of time. This is the case I have found myself in quite a few times. But, if you're gonna be on the road or off road, you need an RV that can do the job and not get stuck while being self-contained and comfortable. We did the research and found what we were looking for. More than that we found a manufacturer that wasn't afraid to show you how they are made and what you can expect from one of their RV's. Even beyond that, we found a family owner RV dealer that understands that purchasing an RV isn't just a "sale" it's an investment. It's an investment in your family and or your business. All our research led us to @outdoorsrvmfg and the @thompsonrvinc dealership. Thus the trip to Pendleton, Oregon where we met Corrin, Casey, Carolyn, Lee and so many other invested individuals who made our experience one of a kind. We can't say enough about them and our experience purchasing from them. We hope you enjoy this video and check our their videos and website.
Check back later for further posts on our experience in our new Outdoors RV Back Country 28DBS. Tell em' ICWELD sent ya! So kick back and enjoy the tour!
The salesman knows his facts and is a competent agent.
I didn't think there were any RVs out there built that well. This company is an upstanding builder and worth every penny. Have fun Issac!
Youve earned every moment that you enjoy on board your new trailer camper!
I spent 45 years in the RV in the PNW, and I know more about Rv trailer construction than anybody has reason to know. This trailer addresses all the. issues I would need to address. Your attention to the details was excellent. Specifically your attention to the undercarriage is spot on. If there is anything more I would ask it would be the routing of water and wiring but I would imagine there’s probably a web sight that will show those details.
I agree, as we toured the factory, I paid attention to where the water lines were routed and how things were laid out. I would imagine that there are schematics of where the wiring goes and how to access them as well. I did see various junction access points that helped me understand the trailer layout as we walked through the plant.
WOW! That's quite the father's day gift!well done to you my friend.
Congratulations! Hope your family enjoys the adventures ahead!
Well you should have come out to my shop and took a tour. Doherty Welding we love watching your stuff!
Are you In Pendleton?
@@ICWeld We are 15 minutes south in Pilot Rock.
SO Close!!.
My mom and dad are on their second Outdoor trailer and have loved everything about both
When the salesman mentions the welds on the trailer. 😂 Do you know who you're talking to? Nice rig.
Happy Father's Day, Isaac! Looks like you got your gift all picked out, nice! She's a beaut, enjoy!
Very good choice Issac. We hope that it serves You well. Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
I'm on my second Outdoors RV. I know there the best. We started with a 24' bumper pull and when we retired, we traded it in on a 28' 5th wheel, love them both.
Congratulations Isaac! Happy Father’s Day! That is a very well built trailer! Enjoy your trip back home!
You could literally live in that, the chassis is stonking and the fittings are second to none, it is to use an English phrase "The Rolls Royce" of trailers. I wish the UK was as upto date on their trailer builds . The shocks will stop that horrible speed wobble some trailers get when the wind blows too.
They have put a lot of thought into making the whole unit superb. I bet it costs but wow it certainly looks worth every cent.
Well worth putting it on the channel I think.
Woohoo, work hard play hard Isaac. So enthralled in Casey explaining your RV's features my dinner got cold on my lap. Enjoy 🎉
That's got features I didn't know you could get, and I watch the nerd almost every day. Good insulation for when Texas freezes next time too.
Happy Father’s Day! Nice rig. That salesman now’s his stuff 😉
No reason to have to rough it when you have to got to a remote work site or when on a vacation if you don't have to. Plus if it's used a lot it will more than make up the cost of the trailer in savings of not having to stay at a hotel, motel, or bed and bath place. Nice looking well made trail. May it serve you and your family well for many years.
That is Awesome Issac 😁 See this goes to show that hard work really does pay off 👍👍
Congratulations I was surprised at well it is built. I’m looking forward to seeing you on the road with it . Thanks
Congratulations! Great looking trailer! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Issac, what an fantastic and well deserved trailer for work and play! I can't wait to see it in your videos. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. I was very impressed with the factory representative and received quite the education on what sets this apart from the competition.
I hope you get to travel all around Oregon while you're here. It's a beautiful and diverse state with deserts, mountains, valleys and the coast. Safe travels.
Happy Father's day. Enjoy the channel and I live in oregon
Seems to be well thought out. Not surprised on your choice.
thats a long way to have to go to get what you want i lived in campers for years of logging and every time i got a new one it was different now im getting a toy hauler i enjoy all your content
Those are nice, but if I were king they’d be double Azdel, and some of the electrical could be cleaner imho. On the plus side is their frames- stout and they don’t look like the welder got blind folded and spun around like pin the tail on the donkey. Wishing you and the family many years of enjoyment of the rig.
That's a real nice trailer. You got some nice features. I like that washroom. You can get to it from the outside. That's nice. One little thing you might want to look at. I got some buddies you have trailers in your back bumper. Is that 4-in square tubing it? And that's where you put your line for your toilet. If you're going to put it there, remember to drill a couple of drain holes in the bottom cuz I've had to replace a couple of bumpers on different trailers because of the water. There's no way for it to drain up so drill some holes in it. Just something to think about. Looking forward to see it on the road 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
This is how we work/live in Alaska during road construction season. Typically our company supples power from a genset and water depending on how far in the middle of nowhere we are.
diggin' the pizza wheels. that's quite a rig ... enjoy!!!
Many happy miles with this puppy!
I like the layout of that Travel Trailer.
I see you visited my part of the country, Very nice RV's for sure. There should be plenty of room for your video equipment, So no excuses. Will be looking for the next one.
Congratulations! I hope it serves you well.
That is one loaded trailer!!!
Nice. That is better than my house. Good job you have the big truck to pull it. Everything is bigger in Texas.
ORV has all the right stuff to make a great trailer. Problem is they don't have the QC to guaranty a problem free trailer. Sometimes the sum of parts doesn't equal the finished product. Hope you have better luck with yours than I've had with mine.
You should have stopped by nice rig have fun😊
Ooh , 4 season comfort , an RV for all seasons . Nice .
Uninformed consumer: "All that extra weight will affect gas mileage"😞
*ANY* trades person: "Woo-hoo, I won't have to fix sh*t!"😜👍
😄😄😄😄
🎉congratulations a great asset hope you and the family take full advantage good luck
We have a similarly equipped 28' Winnebago 28' 'Toy Hauler' bunper pull. I think the best design feature is its onboard genset runs on gasoline in separate 30 gallon fuel tank, that also has a fuel pump so other machines can be fueled up.
Enjoy my friend you deserve it and thanks again for sharing.
Wow. You're up in my neck of the woods. That is quite a trip to get a trailer. I suppose you couldn't locate one closer to home. Safe travels on your way home.
Nice. Thanks for the videos.
Isaac good for you Brother!! You deserve the best. Invest in a good battery operated grease gun. Peace, safe travels!
Very Good, congratulation and thanks for sharing.
I’m different in that I like 5th wheel trailers but I don’t know your exact situation & how you will be using it. That’s why they make things for you & for me. Nice trailer, enjoy it every time you get the chance.
Right on. We asked about a fifth wheel bunk model but they dont offer it.
@@ICWeld
Well drats
Thanks for rv tour 😊
I can’t believe you didn’t stop in to say howdy! Lol!
Congratulations 🤙💪🇺🇸
Very Nice!
Wow. I'm originally from Eagle Pass Texas now living 35-30 miles from Pendleton.
That’s a significant change
one key factor is the cost of these RVs
I’m in Canada , fiberglass sides and soft membrane roof won’t last , so much moisture ingression .
There are a couple new manufacturers up here who do aluminum sides and roof , aluminum studs and spray foam throughout, super tough and extreme weather rated.
Very nice well done enjoy
1,256 👍's up IC WELD thank you for sharing 🤗
Nice trailer
I don't the first thing about RV's, but I am sort of surprised that for something that is meant to be off road that the sewer lines would be left hanging down as low as they are. It seems like those might not last very long.
It looks to be slightly higher than the middle of the tires and only a couple feet behind them. They are probably protected well enough going forward. But I initially had the same thought about it as you. Hopefully it's something easy to replace and with the valves being in the frame underbelly, it should be too disgustingly messy if something happens.
that's nicer than my house.
Once you build your jacuzzi then you’ve nailed it. Nice 👍
Enjoy
WOW! That is a brilliant bit of kit. A bit too big for here in the UK but what a magnificent asset. So, I C Weld on Tour then?
Absolutely, I actually had plans to visit some UA-cam welders on our trip back home but we had a couple of delays that prevented that. But yes, we will be visiting different shops as we travel.
@@ICWeld Good stuff young man. If you ever decide to visit the UK, it would be a great privilege to meet you in person and buy your family dinner. Best regards, Jon. P.S. Better leave the RV at home than bring it to the UK! 🤣🤣🤣
Found the comments in the short saying the welding on RV's is crap quite amusing, as though a professional welder isn't going straight to inspecting the welding first
badass! I want one
All's it needs is a 8000lb crane. Enjoy.
Hope it has the one piece roof (no seams)
Is it a 4 seasons?
Glad its not a Lippert frame. If it was you will be thankful that your a welder. All Lipperts, the tounges fold up.
It's a very nice RV congratulations! 😊
I like the class C with diesel power.
Dang, you are almost human... Here I thought all you did was burn rod/wire1!!!!!! Good Luck
Heck, that is nicer than my first house.
Its nicer than my current house too!
Looks like a good investment.
Well, actually, as we did the research, they say Any rv purchase is not a good financial decision. And I agree. but, spending time with the family is worth more than the loss. The family and kids will remember the trips for the rest of their life.
@@ICWeld lol ya all outdoor equipment is gunna be an overall loss, but the memories. Priceless
@@ICWeld Since you mentioned you sometimes use the RV on jobs, your accountant might be able to help on the money side come tax time.
Wish you would've got a better picture of them spring hangers they don't make them thick enough in those tall ones like that what they call that off-road system that thing sit there and Swayze going down the Road I've replaced six sensitive in the last few years
2:52 Definitely not the best welding seam )))
Nice rig, add a $200k truck to pull it your good to go.
I used same fuel as tug for generator
High-speed hubcaps and dual dipsticks.
IC Adventures...😛
Ha, I dont think I'd be as interesting as @Abom79. They have some cool adventure videos.
how long did it take you to save up for that. and does contracting pay more than working for someone?
Payments!😪😪
Did you check out the welds?
How much does this trailer RV weigh? It looks very beefy, you need a good size truck to haul it around.
Fancy
im surprised you didnt buy from princess craft in round rock. i got mine from them
They didnt have one.😕Plus we got to tour the factory just down the road from this dealer. it was a Win/win/win since we got to make it a vacation as well.
heck yeah! that is a win/win/win!
That thing is a camper on steroids !
Issac, Why didn't you buy the true off road travel campers? Black Series or Overland?
$$$$$$$$
Nice. Too many stickers on the outside, will they de-sticker them?
Probably. We didn't even think about that. Nothing I can't do on my own, though.
😎👍
Born amd raised in Oregon, first place i lived out of high school was Pendleton. Took a couple welding classes at the community college (wouldnt know that if you saw the welds today lol), unfortunately I dont agree with Oregon's direction in public school and the bs theyre allowing to happen..........two years ago my family sold our 25 acres in central oregon and now make up chaos in southwest Montana. Believe me, EVERYONE knows when the war party comes to town 😂😂😂, 4 biological and we have custody of our neice, people knew who I was long before shakin hands lol. Gota love small towns
Oh, I too come from a rather small town, so I know what you mean.
When did Jason Statham become a salesman?
Go to your room lol😂
👍
How much does it cost, $29.99 plus tax?????
A Lot!!!
.25sec master lock with found wire banding excreted from tires, at worst hardened with a pit-fire and spit. eeek
Issac, if they better understood you and your channel they prob would have allowed you to film. Their loss.
Maybe so but I didn't go in there saying ""i have a UA-cam channel with X amount of Subs". Almost wish I could have so we could show you the build quality but that's not me. In the orientation class they discussed some safety concerns and things to watch out for. Then towards the end I asked about photos or filming and they said no.🤷♂️🤷♂️ I said ok.!
@@ICWeld It's a shame because the almost reckless quality (you can see the flat out lack of welds on multiple YT channels) of most of the Indiana stuff. The company you bought from clearly is following a different, better, path.
Should have made your own.
how much
Its not hard to make a quality rv but i dont think there is one....
@coolhanddruid why do you have to be negative?? if he wants to have a trailer he will, NOBODY wants to hear your crap!!!
lol, RV's are piles of junk. If you cant leave home without dragging a house behind you, then you should probably stay at home.
Welding must be paying well in the States - that a $150K rig - congrats man good to see you're doing well.
Ok, I have to clarify....we would never pay that much for an rv. It's well south of that.
@@VeronicaCarrion2194 My sincere apologies ma'am, firstly upon rereading my comment it sounds like im envious, Im not, you and your family are fantastic hard working salt of the earth folks and deserve every success - I genuinely was impressed with the quality of that RV unit - I hope you and your family get the joy and relaxation you deserve as you are extremely hardworking and your husband is an amazingly good welder and hard worker - again apologies if the comment sounded wrong.
@rupert5390 no apologies necessary and no offense taken. It was just funny and made me wonder what other dealerships are.charging for this unit. Maybe we just got a fantastic deal.😂
@@VeronicaCarrion2194 you did.

Thank you for visiting the plant it was a pleasure to meet you and your family. Enjoy your BackCountry, it is an outstanding, well built, floor plan!
