I've been a Chevy girl all my life but I sure wish I could have turned you loose on the last one we had. 2012 Silverado, one thing after another, couple thousand dollars in repairs, finally was told that to diagnose the last problem would require a total teardown of the engine JUST to diagnose, not repair (which we did NOT do). When your own mechanic, a genius in business for decades who I would trust with my life, says to give up on the truck, you give up on the truck. I was so mad at it at the end, I'd have loved to see you trash it. Don't worry about the "holier than thous" griping about what you did. I get it. Enjoyed the whole video. Thanks!

Besides pushing dirt around, the blade is the functional equivalent of outriggers on a backhoe. Point the blade at the hole you're digging and then lower it until it begins lifting the track. Now most of the force of digging is going through the blade, which is made of heavy steel, and not the tracks, which are made of rubber.

Things I wouldn't give a second look at, nor would I even try to repair. And they work. So when I see him rip and tear that truck apart like the Doomslayer, I know it is BEYOND repair or not worth it. Plus, on a side note: He's asserting dominance over the other vehicles in the area that might even be thinking about breaking down.
