Let's go!! Excited for you to check it out. And yes, the game is just amazing. Love the combat so much, it's been an absolute joy to play though. Thanks for checking out the review!
Best value IEM in my collection. Absolutely love it. I think the Scarlet is a bit more resolving but this has a nice punch in the mid-bass for extended range or downtuned guitars.
Didn’t think this iem would be so good for the price tag but I’m pleasantly surprised, makes me want to see what else fatfreq got in store… maestro se maybe in the future
Almost pulled the trigger on the Scarlet Mini as I have been curious about Fatfreq. When I heard about the Deuce (I'm late to the party), decided to get it instead. Got it from Bloom Audio.
Nice review. I’m holding off as I had the Maestro Mini and traded up to the Scarlet, but the Doscincos, Estrellas and Meteors are just better overall and this would be a downgrade. Glad people can get an affordable FF iem though.
I hear you on that. If you already have the Maestro Mini, defintely see why you'd hold off/pass on this one. But I totally agree, seeing the price of admission to own a FatFreq get cut down dramatically is a win for everyone.
Amazing video man, thanks so much! Random comparison, but how would you say this sounds compared to other bassy non-FatFreq IEMs like the Symphonium Meteor or the Xenns Mangird Up?
Thank you for the kind words and great question! I haven't gotten my hands on Mangird XENNS UP, but Meteor I heard back at SoCal 2023 and was really surprised by the price to performance value. I think its got Deuce beat on raw technicalities and total detail retrieval, and will undoubtedly provide a more balanced listen, but Deuce for sure wins in the engagement category. I think if you've already got Meteor and have been content, there isn't much of a reason to buy Deuce, but if you want something to compliment Meteor in your collection with a very bass forward approach, Deuce is a fantastic pick. I hope this helps!
It does love its power, but you shouldn’t have problems driving it with the M12i. The impedance adapter makes it pretty demanding, but I think you’ll be fine here. Questyle does really well with how much juice they pack.
I'm going to assume you mean Tanchjim Origin I've tried all three. The Deuce should not be your only IEM 🤣 as fun as they are, you'll only grow to hate the bass and how intrusive it can get on some music genres. Mega5EST is the best all-rounder but it does come across a little too plain, the Origin is fantastic for songs with plenty of female vocals though it can come across a little lean on the bass
Thank you so much for watching! Sure, so MEGA5EST will always just be a very safe recommendation, and one that I would still say is more complete and balanced than Deuce. However, that comment of how it can be a little too plain from @vianhoho19 is what I struggle most with MegaFest. It just gets to be a bit too bland after a while of listening, but for me to deny its all around nature would be foolish. The ideal scenario is owning both to compliment their strengths and weaknesses. However, in a scenario in which you could have only one, MegaFest will be the safer option and recommendation. Deuce would be more for those who know they just want a ton of lowend bass and something a little more daring and exciting. I haven't gotten a chance to checkout Tanchjim Origin, my mind defaulted to ThieAudio Origin here because of how much I've been listening to it lately... lol.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy Deuce :-) I think you'll be surprised how close both are in terms of resolution and technicalities, but Timeless will still most likely have the slight edge. However, I was very impressed by Deuce's level of clarity and separation, even with how much bass was presented. I'm excited to hear what you think of the two when you get a chance to compare them side by side! Thanks for checking out the review.
Great question. I wouldn't say as tight or really as detailed as Dusk when compared. However, for the amount of bass you're getting, I do credit FatFreq for the quality presented. Dusk will be more controlled, faster, and perhaps even harder hitting as well. Hope this helps!
@@joefilter2923 im looking for something that will still rumble good outside around cars and white noise, but im okay with eqing a bass shelf, would dusk be better for that then? i have the mega5est rn and the bass is pretty fuzzy and undefined making it harder to hear outside.
Understandable. Scarlet Mini is really good, though Deuces lower price point and value presented makes the comparison close in my opinion. Thanks for checking out the review 🤘
Seems like Deuce demands a good amount of power, so anything that can supply it that is a really good option. I love my DX180 with it, I think it’s a fantastic pairing. I’m surprised to hear the BTR7 isn’t doing the Deuce justice, that’s a really great portable option in my opinion.
Ohhh that's a tough call. Rest assured knowing you're getting a great IEM regardless! Hype 4 if you want something a bit sharper and more detailed in the treble, Deuce if you care for a smoother treble and more bass as well!. At least that's my take on it! Hope this helps :-)
I think there’s a lot less to this IEM than people claim. It’s not really better than Ikko OH10, which has more slam but more treble which can be too much. But the deuce has trouble with sometimes bloated base and its own annoying trouble on some songs.
@@joefilter2923 Sure, I can see why people may not like it. To each their own, there’s plenty of other IEMs to keep non Deuce enjoyers entertained 🙂 thanks for watching the review!
@@joefilter2923 unless FatFreq has a final sale policy on Deuce that I’m unaware of, Bloom accepts returns on this IEM the same as we do all of our other products.
It’s OK, but it’s not a good value IEM. Plus you can’t return it - and even though I ordered early, I got a tiny little cloth case that the IEMs cannot fit in. Plus, you had to wait three months for it.
Damn, bro is really announcing that he unsubscribes as if anyone cares. HBB is really living rent-free in so many heads. Most of his collabs sold well and were positively received by the audio enjoyers and praised by reviewers, not sure why are you so shocked to hear that a collab like this is good? A basshead collabs with the company that has some of the best bassy iems.
@@squidikka no it is not great at all, but it’s OK when it’s not muffled. You might as well get the HBB KHAN and EQ. You could put that $250 to good use.
I agree. Collabs seem gimmicky to me, designed to promote the collaborator. Plus HBB, AKA Bad Guy Good Audio is a less than savory person. Good on you for making a statement with your wallet.
I agree, they killed it. Not only does it sound amazing, that bass is crazy addictive.

From what I read, Deuce seems to be hard to drive. Anyone tried it with Questyle M12i? Would Questyle M12i be enough to drive it?

I actually think they're darn close. May be some slight deviation in bore opening and material used, though.
