- In Summertime I work as a guide in the arctic, but what does it mean to live here in Longyearbyen in svalbard / Spitzbergen how does it look like and what does it feel like to be here- that is what I want to show in these episodes.

this is awesome. I just signed up to go to Svalbard next January - this is a great series that really conveys the feel for everyday life. Now maybe do season 2: winter time :)

Hey I used a mix of different artist in this video... the main theme is probably by David mc- leod but the other parts I looked up by the mood they present, if it's important for you I'll have a check ;)

You have to calibrate the drone. I had my drone flying in circle sometime. It was behaving normal after compass calibration
okay, but it was doing okay in the beginning and had some stable flights until later on... wouldn't it be circling from the beginning if it wasn't calibrated?
Yeah, mine was flying normally at the beginning maybe after 5 to 10 mins it start to circle quite violently, so l hit return home . It climb up to the preset altitude and came back normally. It circled every new takeoff and behaved the same. Only after calibration it was superb.
Luckily on RTH it was consistent so l am not that scared.

kann es sein das das Radar oder der Schiffsfunk gestört haben ?
+Pixxel Air (Pixxelkunst) hey das ist ein sehr interessanter Ansatz... Ich glaube allerdings dass das Radar, und der Funk - beide auf Funkwellen basieren- die Funkwellen an sich beinträchtigen ja nur die Steuerung der Drohne, die Position wird über GPS Signale bestimmt- (Moment, du meinst also das die Funkwellen in die Steuerung hätten eingreifen können??)

glaube das liegt an der Nähe vom Magnetischen Nordpol...
ich vermute mittlerweile, dass die sattelten häufig über den pol fliegen und nicht geostationären sind - weswegen die Drohne schnell zwischen Satelliten zur Orientierung wechseln muss
