I saw one of these today in Nairn, Scotland. Have never seen one before here. Took a picture and googled it to find out its species and learnt it is endangered so thought I would leave this information for interested ornithologists. A beautiful bird. It was alone.
I live in Croatia on an island and I have ONLY ONE that visits me to eat the Bluetits peanuts if I leave it on the ground There are no seabirds here and I fear for its life. There is nothing to eat on the seashores ?? And there is no fresh water
hello, another great video ! and good to have these real automn sounds .....it would be greater to give just some more technical details : how do you manage to be so close to these shy birds ?
For some reason, I especially have a fondness for birds with curved beaks, like Ibises, Curlews, and the like. I just find their sickle-like bills to be adorable. 🥰 Thanks for sharing!
Halo teman, mohon maaf jika ada kesalahan. Saya sangat suka dengan video-video burung ini salah satunya burung Nightingale, sukses selalu untuk semuanya. 🙏
But the Eskimo curlew that once darkened the skies of Canada and the US is now extinct. Shot out of the sky. The last confirmed pair was spotted in Texas in 1952 .
Beautiful, elegant birds, and stunning photography, as usual. What an amazing talent you have xx
It was nice to see Curlews next to White storks.
