It makes me sad that others, from other countries don't know pride in the place where they are from, and don't understand the flying of a flag.
Does that make any sense? I'm sad for them.
I cannot fly the flag - until there is regime change in DC ... the utter contempt for our sovereign nation/ borders, security, and our incredible constitution by those in charge - would necessitate I fly it upside-down - as we are a country "in distress"!!! I'd rather NOT fly it until it can be properly honored!

I am Canadian by birth but American by heart. I am reminded of that whenever I see the flag lifted to the sky. The raising of the flag and your explanation that it represents faith and freedom gives me goose bumps. God bless your family and God bless the America it stands for. You had me in tears with raising the American Flag. I love this Country and the men and women who have fought for our freedoms throughout history. As I watch pro-Hamas/Palestinian "protesters" on college campuses scream, "Death to America" and "From the river to the sea" I shake my head in disgust and sadness that they spit on the very foundation of what gave them the right to do so.

Saw a guy cleaning dryer and vent, he found socks in the dryer below the lint catcher.
They are often found in top load washers, getting under the top and around the outside of the drum. They slide over that gasket, and settle down in there. Watched the repairman pull them out.

I just received my first order from Factor and so far it’s been great. The meals are great and easy, especially for me with major surgery pending. I like how your helpers collected the scraps of wood and put them in the firewood stack . When you raised the old glory, that sent chills down my spine I’m so proud to say I’m a Veteran and appreciate the sacrifices our men and women have made for our freedom. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for the Flag.

Every person in the world should proudly display their country's flag, either by flying it from a flagpole or attaching a representation of it to their window or door. Regardless of what kind of government you have, what faith you practice or not, never be afraid to display your country's colours. It represents everything you and your country stands for and the sacrifices that others have made so that we may be always free.

We have always had a flag hanging on our homes, no matter where we lived. 30 years in the military, 4 sons currently serving... I remember living overseas in the late 90's and the first time we came back to the states (after 3 years) we went to a 4th of July celebration and the radio station blasted God Bless the USA along to the fireworks. Imagine sitting on a blanket hearing multiple radios all around and seeing the sky. It brought tears to my eyes. I think the American flag represents what can be. It is the potential of what could be if we help each other and be kind.
I love that last part, "if we help each other and be kind". Need more of that these days.
