I cannot fly the flag - until there is regime change in DC ... the utter contempt for our sovereign nation/ borders, security, and our incredible constitution by those in charge - would necessitate I fly it upside-down - as we are a country "in distress"!!! I'd rather NOT fly it until it can be properly honored!

They are often found in top load washers, getting under the top and around the outside of the drum. They slide over that gasket, and settle down in there. Watched the repairman pull them out.

Thank you 😊. My husband is an Army vet. 2 daughters one Air Force and one Army and a son-in -law 25 years - Air Force. Veterans all through our families. We are from Colorado and have always had a 20’ flag pole at every place we have lived. So proud to be an American.
We have always had a flag hanging on our homes, no matter where we lived. 30 years in the military, 4 sons currently serving... I remember living overseas in the late 90's and the first time we came back to the states (after 3 years) we went to a 4th of July celebration and the radio station blasted God Bless the USA along to the fireworks. Imagine sitting on a blanket hearing multiple radios all around and seeing the sky. It brought tears to my eyes. I think the American flag represents what can be. It is the potential of what could be if we help each other and be kind.

It is so good and warms my heart to see the American Flag flying at your home. I have one in my front yard and it stays up all the time, day and night only taken down with very high wends. I am a National Guard vet and it means a tremendous liking to see it there. Thanks
A little tip to stop socks from being eaten by the washer is to wash them in a smaller load that doesn't require a full load of water... They somehow get washed over the inside tub and get sent out to the sewer. I fixed my daughters washer because it wouldn't drain and when I pulled it apart it had a kids sock stuck in the pump... The home build is looking awesome and I love how the barn turned out...
I fully understand about the turkeys. When I lived in Alaska, the moose that we would see on a regular basis, vanished on the opening day of the season.
I like the thought that Jeremy can pinch his fingers but I do not feel the pain. I did mutter an "ouch" though!!! I am jealous of the view you have of the mountains, absolutely stunning.

My grandson worked so hard as did all the 2023 graduates who are now continuing to learn and train to protect our great nation. With all those turkeys on your property, your family has really been given an extra special blessing. Hope Jeremy is a turkey hunter too as well a deer hunter, wild turkey taste awesome, it has more dark meat and is the ultimate example of free range. Hope you can get a few in the freezer while they are around there. When my family of 5 lived in Va., we had hard times and our Heavenly Father provided for us with wild turkey, deer meat & goat milk. Had a garden that I canned veggies & there were jars of honey from my husband's grandfather. I made sourdough bread and had a potato starter growing all the time to make my bread. All we had to have was flour, rice, butter & oil. Y'all are doing am awesome job working together to build your life you want❣ Blessings, Carol

Nice to see you get your flag up. I fly mine year round, in a pretty windy location on Chesapeake Bay. I have found running a few lines of stitching down the hem on the width of the flag, can extend the life of the flag by months. I use to buy 3 a year. Now it's 2 per year. Flag history and etiquette is a good topic for homeschooling as well.

Thank you for flying our American flag. I’m a proud grandmother of a Naval Academy graduate. My grandson worked so hard as did all the 2023 graduates who are now continuing to learn and train to protect our great nation. I tear up whenever I see the red, white and blue and pray for the safety of all the soldiers from every service branch for all their sacrifices for us. Great job 👏 👍

It’s our sign of INDEPENDENCE, UNITY, and FREEDOM that WE as Americans uniquely enjoy, without persecution. I am a Retired Naval Veteran, and I’ve flown a flag at every home I’ve owned. If that offends anyone, I’m sorry, but I sacrificed a LOT in order to have the freedom TO display that great flag! So THANK YOU!!!

With all those turkeys on your property, your family has really been given an extra special blessing. Hope Jeremy is a turkey hunter too as well a deer hunter, wild turkey taste awesome, it has more dark meat and is the ultimate example of free range. Hope you can get a few in the freezer while they are around there. When my family of 5 lived in Va., we had hard times and our Heavenly Father provided for us with wild turkey, deer meat & goat milk. Had a garden that I canned veggies & there were jars of honey from my husband's grandfather. I made sourdough bread and had a potato starter growing all the time to make my bread. All we had to have was flour, rice, butter & oil. Y'all are doing am awesome job working together to build your life you want❣ Blessings, Carol

Nice to see you get your flag up. I fly mine year round, in a pretty windy location on Chesapeake Bay. I have found running a few lines of stitching down the hem on the width of the flag, can extend the life of the flag by months. I use to buy 3 a year. Now it's 2 per year.
Flag history and etiquette is a good topic for homeschooling as well.

I grew up with the flag in the classroom, later at my University, committed 6 years of military service for it and one hangs in my front yard to this day.
