The words "unique" and "legendary" are casually bandied around these days but Dot was one singer who really deserved them. A true original and one hell of an entertainer. Once you saw her live, you never forgot it. What a star!!
Dorothy was a great star. I met her at Wolverhampton she had given an amazing concert. I will never forget that night. She proved all the doubters wrong.
