Quote "If I can see the back I can take the back" great words to hear from your BJJ coach, bad ones to hear in your prison cell shower.

Not to avoid it but pull guard to force them to missionary me and fuck me whilst maintaining constant eye contact.

Beautiful - I heard that same slogan from Danaher & it made an impression on me - thanks for showing exactly how much of the opponent’s back you need to see...

Excellent principle. I was hearing it in my head last night as I was teaching the stand-up class. It's simple and applicable in a variety of modalities. Thanks for sharing!

I really, REALLY like this guys approach to grappling and he's fantastic at explaining these kind of conceptual ideas with contextual examples. Fantastic stuff.

As a judo and bjj practitioner i will love to see Stephan and
Travis talk about the vision of the two arts, from my point of view at the end they will be converging like if was a back to the beginning, and what of the fanciest things in bjj works in judo and viceversa, and opinions on the constant changes that ijf do, i personally think that are not good, and the ban of the ijf for judo ranked people to no participate in bjj competitions, ibjf do the same or ibjf ranked athletes can participate in ijf tournaments? Thanks great videos

Right! We need associations that bring the grappling artists together to compete under one big umbrella. Too much politics keeps the grappling artists separated. We need Mixed Martial Artists of Grappling. Submissions only no strikes. A UFC for grapplers of all backgrounds welcome to compete, for money.

With the double under back take it would be slightly easier to roll them onto turtle, keeping the grip, then clip his foot and pull hum back onto you.
