I know this is an old mount but it's drawn me to your channel, I absolutely love black bears they're my favorite animals. And even if this one is just taxidermized it's still stunning to look at. Absolutely beautiful you are a master craftsman to be able to bring this bear "back to life".

That looks awesome! Do you think you could do a video on how to skin out a fox or a raccoon head? (And entire body, I guess) And maybe make a series from carcass to finished mount?

Great series. Curious what kind of dryer/blower you're using. Ive always used air compressor because I like to regulate the pressure. I'm guessing you have reasons why you prefer the blower over air compressor.
Hi Rich, having different kinds of blower is a must in my shop, air compressor, Pet blower (the one you saw) and also leaf blower.. I like the pet blower here due to the power , adjustable temp and also a larger blow circle it produces. When I have a wet lifesize Mountain Goat, the leaf blower will take the majority of the damp as soon as possible,.
@@ArtofTaxidermy Thank you. Is the pet blower the same system as what car detailers use....I believe I've heard them called Master blaster...or is it something specific to pet grooming.
@@richsheeper1963 nope, its not a specific blower, Im sure the detailer blower works just fine.. any kind of blower that has variable speed works,, or even if it has one speed, its still good. I used to reverse my vacuum cleaner and use it as a blower.

Thank you Mario... no its only clean water to wet the fur a bit so I blow dry it straight from Wet.. it makes it fluffier I believe.
