What is the benefit of forming the lips with clay rather than cutting into the pre-marked mouth lines on the mannequin and pushing the lips into that? Thanks!
You can certainly use the cuts only and push the skin into them but sometimes when they dry the skin with shrink and pull away slightly leaving a visible gap between the upper and lower lips. A fine roll of clay when worked down properly will help you avoid that.
