1:33 I knew a lady who her and her husband HATED their last names, so they agreed not to take either name, and took their favorite letters of the alphabet and just randomly constructed a last name out of those random letters and that was their legal last name. And the name their children were born under.

5:55 I was legitimately eating supper while watching this. I felt like one of those tumblr users that had an air of the 2010s Tumblr "i cant even." Because I was caught so off-guard that I started coughing mid-chew and I had to stop the vid in order to finish eating and take a swig of water.

My first exposure to Phantom of the Opera was our music teacher/principal playing the Broadway soundtrack as a unit in our music classes when I was in 4th grade... And was traumatized by the combo of my imagination and the music that plays during thee ballet scene when that stagehand dude got dropped down and hanged.

About the Nightwish cover of Phantom of the Opera: Listen to the live version from End of an Era. Tarja's last live performance with the band. It's got a lot more energy in it, and feels a lot more raw and emotional. Especially the end of the song.

fair point except driving on the left side would be better and safer with american manufactured cars, because the driver would then be on the same side as the nearest sidewalk, you get pulled over? no more standing in traffic while the cop wastes your time, you park on the side of the street? no more getting out into traffic
