Hey Ryan! Great video. Quick Q... Is the 7Pin charging the goal zero a new thing? I recently got a used 2021 Olympic and don't think the 7 Pin plug charges the goal zero. As a follow up to that, my F150 3.5 Ecoboost has the Pro Power Onboard "generator" and I just started messing around with it but seems like I can't have both solar plugged into the goal zero in addition to the plug running from my bed's "generator" plug to charge. I dont think the Goalzero is able to automatically switch between solar and propower generator charging unless I'm doing something wrong with that. I physically need to unplug the solar for the goalzero to recognize the propower charging and begin charging. Would love your thoughts.
Congrats on the Olympic! I know on my own F150, the truck was missing a fuse to allow trailer charging. I'm trying to think back to 2021 but from my memory, it should still be set up to charge the Goal Zero. Does your 7 way have power to the "charge line" (with the nub at the bottom, it would be at your 1 o'clock position) ? on a 2021, the Goal Zero only takes input from "one" plugged in input. As in, you would need to plug in solar or the truck charge manually after deciding which you want as your input. The newer models have an MPPT port which will allow the Goal Zero to automatically decide on which input is higher and it will charge from that but not both at the same time. Let me know if this helps! if you have support questions on your Scout, you can always reach out to support@amlrv.com as well. Talk soon, Ryan
