@@jeanyves3364 thanks for checking it out!
How the fuck do you come up on my IG
I don’t see why not but can you expand battery capacity with the Lion Safari UT battery from Costco?
I don't know much about the Lion Safari. . Basically, you don't want a battery that off gases inside the rig. Not sure that expanding the amp hours with the existing Expion360 battery would be compatible.. i'll have to look into it a bit !
@ it’s lithium iron phosphate as well
@@madvillain1987 thanks! I had a peak at it . Sounds like toxic gas is a non issue . I know the Expion360 has 132ah and puts out 750w as a single. When run with two of them and a larger inverter than Scout offers , you should be able to pull 1500w with both. Where I need to do some learning is that the battery in question has different amp hours (would just run out soon if run in pairs perhaps?) and I'm not sure on its watt output but worst case , the Scout could just be ordered without the Expion360 at a discount and you should be able to run those . Happy to look into it further if needed ! Best , Ryan
@ I appreciate your replies. I have an Olympic on order that I’m picking up in January. I chose to not add the additional battery because I could get two 100 amp hour safari batteries for almost the same price as the single Expion360.
@@madvillain1987 Congrats on the Olympic! I've been asking about this a bit. The lithiums are pretty finicky in regards to voltage / amps etc. and it's not advisable to run "other" batteries. Scout went with the Expion360 because it's self heating etc. Don't have the exact answer on the batteries you are looking at but Scout would advise to stick with the Expion360's
Love it! And recessed, flush mount stove PLEASE! Small camper countertop space is so valuable.
I want the same thing ! Likely 2026's but service centers should be able to install a flush mount if it's a must have .. one dealer has been doing it for years in CO
I would rather have s fill bathroom like I have in my RV.
Haha fair! This simple set up gets the job done but it won't be as luxurious as yours
Great interview.....looks like you are in a Kenai? Also, what size National Luna fridge? Thanks.
@@dennisrasmussen9031 thanks for checking it out ! That Kenai is Nook Overlands. I'm not 100% sure which fridge they had in there's . I want to say it's a 70L. I know I have Owned a Kenai and I had a National Luna 90L and it fit nicely !
Looking forward to seeing the Kenai Pop-Up….I am 6’7” so like the extra height. Also, hoping that under bed storage is added!? Keep up your great videos!
@@dennisrasmussen9031 makes sense on the extra height if your 6'7 .. I haven't heard anything on under the mattress storage yet but it could happen .. will know more early 2025.. thanks for watching them!
I had a GFC before my Scout Tuktut. The GFC basically felt like a fancy tent, where the Tuktut feels more like home. It was a huge upgrade.
@@Chops00 sounds like a vote for hard side 🙂
I have a 2025 Olympic on order. If I wasn’t planning on using it as a snowboarding mountain lodge I definitely would’ve ordered a pop up Yoho.
@@madvillain1987 I hear ya ! Everyone likes their own thing . Being in a rainy area of the West I love hard sided but there's some sweet benefits to a pop up as well!

Need these for my 2023, where can I buy?
@@Superjake385 www.cascadeadventureproducts.com/
Literally the only reason why I haven’t bought a scout yet. I just want an AC in Texas. Even if I could hook it up to a portable generator I’d do it.
@@chancer194 they are planned to have AC and a dealer down your way in the near future!
@@trudgeesbugout if they add it to their new pop top I'll buy it instantly! It has a very durable roof so I can imagine it would work!
@@chancer194 it could work on the roof! I don't think Scout can find an AC to work with the holes in the rear wall. They have tried and are looking at a new solution on the passenger side of the camper so that it can work on all models. Pop up or not.
Thank you. I solved my charging issue.
@@anthonyknapp6219 hopefully it actually helped! I was stumped for a while myself lol didn't know the truck would be missing fuses
Great meeting you at OEast 2024! Touring Yakima tomorrow!
@@Cowboy200708 nice meeting you as well! Are you stopping by the factory ?
Mini split option mounted to back in place of diesel heater.
i think that was similar to Scouts original plan. They had an AC but it wasn't cooling the campers enough so a new solution is planned in the next few months but I know they are working on it!
Really hope y’all make a slide out bed upgrade kit for older models.
I hope they do to! It might be a few months out but I'm sure something will come available
These little videos are fine but really just want you to show us the Olympic/Kenai popup campers… the wait has been long enough. Don’t understand the holdup??
Haha I'm waiting to see them too! I can't do any videos on them yet because they don't exist. The Olympic will be coming out late in the Winter likely. Wish I could have them sooner as well !
Really hope you guys make an upgrade kit for the bed slide out for 2024 Tuktut
Yessss!!!! The exact upgrades I wanted for the kenai. Can’t wait to put my order in next year!
Why aren't you just ordering it now? Why next year?
It can, but that bed is really crying for an Olympic pop-up...
@@OpspecQ haha agreed! Coming soon !
I had airbags B4, and it works great, but when i dnt have my camper, the ride was horrible.😵💫
@@jd24bdc72 did you take the air back out of the bags with the camper off ? Some air bags have built in "bumpers" so they won't be damaged by running them with no air which should bring you back close to your stock ride
It's like you knew we just bought an F350....😂
@@thebakeradventures 😊🤷♂️ the bigger models should be released "soon"
@@trudgeesbugout holding our breath!!! 😆
How does this work when it’s so heavy for the mid size segment? By the time you load up the people and the camper, you won’t have much weight left for other stuff, no?
@@D_F_L_ it depends on the truck ...our Ranger with a Yoho has a payload over 1500lbs... You can improve your safety and others by adding air bags, good tires etc. You can only increase the payload by removing items off the truck such as the tail gate, back seat , spare tire etc but obviously that doesn't work for families or people getting way off grid. A bigger truck never hurts for a camper BUT many mid size trucks can be made to work and tons of owners run campers on their mid size trucks . I always recommend weighing the truck . GVWR (driver's door) minus the weight of your truck = true payload
@@trudgeesbugout on the frontier it Tacoma, would you be able to add this and fill it with stuff and 2 people and stay under? Maybe a ranger payload but everything else seems kinda close. Will scout come out with a shell camper? That’d be interesting when competing with project M
@@D_F_L_ I hear yah ... The Tacoma specifically can get pretty tight ( I see it more commonly than the Frontier) and you definitely want to be safe and not be much over weight but you can take things off the truck and get pretty close ...that's why I recommend scaling the truck because the sticker weights don't know how much ppl weigh or changes you've made to the truck etc. sometimes it works is people's favors and sometimes it goes the other way lol but ya the Scouts can be ordered without options but I'm not aware of another shell model yet .. we'll see what happens after all the new pop ups are released ....
Are you guys going to sell the new slide out bed as a kit that can be retrofitted to an older Scout Kenai, like the 2024 I’ve got?
@@jamesvantatenhove7732 I would imagine that once the parts are available for the 2025's you could order and install that new bed extension. I haven't seen it done but it doesn't seem too complicated. Two rails for the slide, the extension and cushions. I think you'll be able to make it happen! I'd try support@amlrv.com in the Fall
If this video was 10 times longer I would be perfectly okay with that!
@@Brian-bd5vb I'll try and get a more in depth one soon .. thanks for checking it out !
Man, I really want that slide out bed in my 2024 Tuktut. Please convince them to make an upgrade kit.
@@Chops00 they should have something soon when the 2025 parts are available at support@amlrv.com
Storage under bed mattress would be upgrade I would like to see. 😊
@@shannonheiser247 the new slide out bed was the 2025 change under the mattress but maybe they will do something in the future for storage in that spot !
Will there be an option to add this to a 2024 Tuktut?
@@Chops00 once the parts are available for the 2025's it could potentially be added !
My dream camper. 👍
It seemed your legs were dangling a bit trying to get to the floor. I noticed the seating around the table has a ledge but seems like a really small area. Just wondering after a couple of days how's the seating around the table? I work off a laptop and would need some level of comfort to sit there and hack code.... thanks!
I think I was sitting a bit awkward as well. At around 3:30 you will notice that under the table the floor is raised. If you sat in the dinette "property" Your feet wouldn't dangle. If you sat how I'm sitting , you're legs might be longer than mine or else maybe you need to put something under your feet :) probably best to go sit in one as they start shipping soon !
Wish they made a pop up one just like this but shorter for the gladiator😢so you could close the tailgate for extra security for the door.
I believe they will make a pop up for the Gladiator in the Spring! it will still likely be 62 " long at the base but it will work on the truck

Awesome. Have you had a chance to take it on some extended dusty road trips. I'm curious to know if it's completely airtight or if dust somehow gets in like it does in most campers. That's my biggest pet peeve about campers is not being airtight. Opening a compartment on the outside and discovering that everything inside is filthy. What have you found. 👍
@@mryakima I take my own camper hunting down Forest service roads which are very dusty usually...I've never had an issue other than the dirt that ends up in my cubbies if it's not perfectly clean ..I know Scout has done lots of improving their door seals ..
