I really like the 84' monte SS , things you might want to know , the 83' and 84' monte SSs only came with TH350 transmission and 3.42:1 rearend gearing not a highway car without overdrive TH200R4 transmission, last year they had factory blue paint 💙
And a 305 engine

this car had the turbo 350 transmission, after 84 they had the 2004R O/D i have an 86SS i am almost through restoring, it will be superb. these cars had some nice body lines,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This might the best Monte I have seen here so far. Apart from a couple of interior details the previous owner looks to have focused on all the important parts first, drivetrain, suspension, solid body. The colour is great. This looks like a great deal.
I do have to admit though, every time I see a Monte Carlo I want to paint a large number 3 on the side and add some go-fast stickers.
But seriously though, it looks like a great car that could be a great daily driver but also has a bit of pick-up and go when needed.
The missing radio doesn't bother me. Easily added if wanted but nothing sweeter than the song of a 350 singing.
The center console around the shifter looks a bit interesting. That could use some work but any half decent upholstery shop should be able to make short work of that.
All in all. LOVE IT.

Noice! .... just a thought I wonder sometimes why a lot of rebuilds either forget or exclude the torque converter dust cover is that a new thing? because all i can see is it getting dirty and something wrapping up on the flex plate 🤔

I wish you would show if the heat worked because it's pretty difficult to drive a car (which I do now and have last winter) with no heater/windshield defrost working. Not everyone lives in the warm part of the South

That is a Very Beautiful Monte Carlo. I had a choice of one of these (same colors) or a 75 Malibu with the 350cu. in. I opted for the 75 Malibu instead. About $2000 cheaper at the time also.

Really nice looking car, but all these comments about the car being so clean underneath etc, are very easily fooled by a quick rattle-can spraying!
Looks like the 300 hp 369 ft lbs 350 crate motor from back in the day. Had 1 in a K20, they came with those valve covers and the cam sounds just like it.

I had a 81 Monte Carlo SS clone that looked very similar to this one with a 327/300hp w/ turbo 400 with 10 bolt 4.10 gears 20 years ago and I loved it!! A pain in the ass on the freeway but fun nonetheless. Very tempted to make a offer on this one cuz it triggered so many good memories. Thanks you for showing this one.

Wow once again really nice car this Monte Carlo SS looks sweet in the blue usually see them maroon so a nice color and it's upgraded to a 350 that's sounds awesome with that shift kit kick' n the tries out in first and second great car guys priced to sell too I'm sure it isn't be there long!!!!
