It's time for the BIGGEST tournament in history of Rust. Twitch Rivals. One week ago 4 teams of 40 have fought each other over a 5 day period of time. Insane battles have happened, epic moments, crazy fights, amazing outplays and A LOT of team play (especially in hJune's team). Teams fought to get through the elimination periods, starting from the third day for a total prize of 100.000$ USD. Who will be victorious? This video is part 1 of 3 of hJune's POV. Enjoy!
How does Rust Twitch Rivals work? There is 4 teams of 40. Over a 5 IRL day period of time there is 1 live broadcast window per day by Twitch Rivals, a period of 4 hours where teams can get eliminated. Teams can get points by killing people from other teams. From the third day onwards a team must be eliminated, which is either the team with the lowest points or the team that has their TC destroyed during the broadcast window. For further advanced information I highly recommend to watch the Rust Twitch Rivals VODs back. #twitchrivals #Rust #hjune

it was great having hJune IGL and trausi shadow IGL. everyone listened to hJune and hJune listened to trausi. if hJune made a "wrong" call trausi corrected him and hJune immediately adjusted his call outs. comms where immaculate (for a 40 man team). the event was amazing to watch with my favorite duo leading the team. if anyone hasnt watched hJune and trausi duo before i recommend you do, most of the time they dont even need to communicate to execute perfect plays. its synergy is simply magical.

How this aged well
Honestly i think the Spanish team should be replaced by a SEA team. Both events the spanish team had just caused problems, afk'd, half the team quits.. its just extremely poor sportsmanship. I think a SEA team would do much better, would LOVE to see Tesla and Winter and the auzzie boys in this event.
Agree probably a better competition with them playing. Tesla could lead 8 guys and take their whole compound lol. Love his raid videos always quick an efficient.
Spanish team are just a bunch of cry babies who haven't hit puberty
Think the hard part is that they have a half-day time difference? So interaction may be limited. Not that they can't adjust their body clocks for this event but it may affect their personal channel viewership since it's not the subscribers' usual timing. But if everyone can make a compromise to meet in the middle, this will be a great show.

This one was better than the last one, but its still hard to follow sometimes with the amount of people on the teams makes it kind of chaotic. I was mainly watching Posty and Willjum streams. It would be interesting to see more teams of less people maybe so there’s like actual skirmishes and ambushes in the future, just seemed like a few people would get overwhelmed by an army at times while watching the tournament. But it was still fun and y’all did a good job trying to keep it balanced.

even though i watched 90% of these clips live, this was a fucking epic video, ready for what i am assuming is going to be a part 2 for everything that happened after (s)pain was a Eliminated. GG and thank you for helping setting up this awesome event, i'm glad the (mainly english speaking) rust community is so good at these types of events, looking forward to V3 with even better rules in place and even better sportsmanship. ofcourse an event like this CANNOT be flawless, but i know especially you strive to get this event to near percection! now lets hope the other developers don't get another "i told you so" for not listening to some of your inputs. and ofcourse thank you to sven for editing this video, must be weird editing this while having fought on the other side.

If you're talking about the first event, that was also not bullying, some rules that weren't entirely clear nor correctly patched with plugins where broken, when this was "corrected" the spanish team wasted no time to take advantage of this and do the exact same
If you're going to try to argue, give me more then single sentence answers with actual either clips, or examples, so you can actually try to convince me

Why does Spain seem to always just give up in these events? This is the third time I’ve seen and event where half the team just stops playing, then they complain it’s not fair in one way or another, then they all just quit. I wouldn’t be surprised if they stop inviting Spain to join at some point.
