Great shooting, coupled with fantastic wind calls. What a privilege to hunt with a ph/guide who has so much knowledge and experience, yet seems to be so humble. He brings such calmness to the situation. Again, as always, top marks to the ph.
Great 2 part adventure some absolutely brilliant shooting, stunning animals and great guiding, hopefully 2021 will see us all able to travel again safely, thanks for taking us along on this hunt greatly enjoyed.
Absolutely stunning 😍, off the scale content as usual, PH's are first class and a credit to you. Please keep it coming and great to see 👀 you again. Well done 👏 ✔ 👍
Brian is a truly exceptional long range shooter. Especially with that wind - wow. I'm curious if anyone remembers what bullets he was using. They seemed to work very well (in conjunction with the exceptional shot placement). Edit: To be clear, I'm not a big fan of "Long Range Hunting" because it is so difficult to get good, consistent hits past 600 yards. The time of flight of the bullet alone is enough to add unacceptable uncertainty for me. But these were some good, clean ethical kills. The vast majority of "Long Range" hunters simply cannot replicate this, but it is fun to watch someone who can do it.
Everything top class and professional - just one thing bothers me and that is the hunting of non endemic species in the Eastern Cape. Letchwe don’t look right in the bush, they need to be hunted in the wetlands and dambas of Zambia from whence they come. Great videos, great PH, great outfit - good shooting.
I watched both parts. I am not sure that reducing hunting down to a mathematical equation is hunting. I like to get close. One of the reasons why I guess I hunt my local white tails with a rifle and open sights or a long bow. The both of you are well skilled and practiced in this sort of thing, I will give you that. There is enough room for both ways. I am not that full of myself to say I don't like so you can't do what I don't like. There are far to many people like that. Vegans come to mind, Ok I am taking a cheap shot, they have it coming.
If you wear leather shoes, take prescription medicines, have had surgery, eat animals for nutrition, get vaccinated, use insecticides, concerned about preserving endangered species and are anti hunting: you are a hypocrite. Hunting gives these animals financial value. Without financial value, there is no incentive to conserve any species. Hunters are the true conservationists. Hunters are also not hypocrites.
Great vid

Awesome video guys! Just a quick error, in the descriptions of the different sections you call it a bushbuck bull.
Well spotted... error fixed.
First of all. Great videos and channel.
Secondly I am just curious to find out what breed Peppa is? The PH's dog?
Thanks for the kind words ! Pepper is a wire-haired terrier. She’s clipped at the moment for the summer heat, but carries a long coat in winter.
What Gunwerks calibre is that ? 28 Nosler?,,,, Great video, great PH and Great hunter
Yes it was a 28 Nosler
@@JohnXSafarisExperience thought as much that caliber really drops the animals
@@JohnXSafarisExperience up top it says Gunwerks 7mm LRM or is it 28 Nosler?
Ahh apologies! You're right it was a 7 mm LRM and not a 28 Nosler.
@@JohnXSafarisExperience also a deadly calibre that Gunwerks put together

What jacket are you wearing in the part of the Oryx hunt?
What caliber was used? :)
It was a 7mm LRM by Gunwerks shooting Bergers 👍

This guy can shoot
Why wouldn’t the hunter touch the animal? It really bothers me for one to shoot it but not to appreciate and admire it.
Not sure if that comment is fair. The Hunter enjoyed his experience and immersed himself in the hunt. He got involved.
Imagine the taxidermy bill
