Do you prefer mixatives rather than the inks ??? You may not remember me but I’ve been following your work for a long time , ever since you hand painted that oz cup that I loved . I’m so glad you made a channel . Thanks for sharing
Hi! I love this cup! It’s like a nebula. I have only used the TH silver mixative once and had to strip the cup! I used too much silver, the epoxy wasn’t moving so it ran on to of the epoxy. Tried the heat gun and scorched it. I have mixed feelings about them. I’m not a fan of how it kinds of opaques the brightness of the other colors but love the touch it gives. Have you tried using the mixatives with the blending solution?
Beautiful cup! I always look forward to your videos.
🥰 thank you so much!!
Beautiful cup!
This is beautiful! What a neat idea :)
Thankyou for providing the clearest explanation of what “mixative” means. “Floats to the top and doesn’t really blend with anything” 😂
😂 it’s a stunner to use sometimes!
Love the colors
Thank you!!
amazing cup, thank you for sharing
🥰 thank you and you’re welcome!

Hi Nancy! I prefer inks but had only found silver in mixative form until this past weekend. I plan on playing with the silver ink really soon! 🥰
Could you put Alyssia method link out cant seem to find it. Thanks dear. Your work is beautiful too, love the creative ways.
Thank you!! I actually don’t have a link, it’s a technique I picked up in a tumbler group. I couldn’t even tell you which one. Sorry!!
You should look into The Mystery Box Boutique resale stare in Justin, Tx... for those things you were talking about wanting to find!
Love the cup! Very pretty! Walmart has a kid tent that is I think $14.98 and it's green with little characters on it. I hope that helps. 😸
I meant to grab one with groceries today and completely forgot!!

I rarely use it and I almost scorched it last night. My apron caught it as it was turning and I almost pulled it off the table!! 😱
How do you prevent the pulling away of the epoxy and ink from the top and bottom of the cup?
I’m curious what would happen if the silver was added first. Let spin. Then add white and then colors? Lovely cup😊
That’s a good question/thought! I’m going to do a gold and red one for my grandma soon, so maybe I’ll experiment!
Is blanco blanco just plain white alcohol ink?
Yes, lots of pigment to it.
You do not seal it after you apply the alcohol ink?
I add at least one more layer of epoxy after inks to prevent them from rubbing off. I do t usually record that step. 😊
To clean a silicone mat .... use a lint roller! Changed my world ;)
Oooooh! Genius!!!
