What do you people think of the Artisan Zero Mid? If you have any suggestions for future videos or feedback for this one, please let me know. Thank you!
Personally for me LGG Saturn pro sits in the upper range of control pads/at the lower end of medium pads, similar with the Artisan zero soft/xsoft. Veil something like a RIZZ doodle or the old Zowie GSR is at the lower end of control/slow/muddy pads being very controlled. And a Endgame Gear-EM-C sits in the middle for control pads. I have not tried the Artisan zero MID, but i would guess, to me the MID would probable land more in the higher end of medium pad category. Even so even when on paper the End game gear em-c is a more controlled pad than the other 2, the Artisan zero xsoft i own, i find it i'm more locked in with that when i game CS/Val. Veil often switch over to the LGG Saturn pro when gaming more tracking heavy games like Apex/OW2 for a more balanced feel. I still like the EM-C though.
@@bergdk237 I also use LGG Saturn, but not the pro version. I like the base of regular regular Saturn when I have my xsoft otsu under it. Honestly could go with even slower pad since that's what seems to fit me the best for what I play (CS).

just popped on my feed when i got my skypad 4 literally today. i've mained a zero mid for the last couples yrs until today, but i do feel even within a day I feel quite comfortable playing tac fps games on the skypad despite its speed.
I just switched from a Zero mid to a Skypad 4 too. I can definitely aim well on it but how long do you think it will take to get to the level you were on the zero
@@amaan1358 I'm mainly playing the new cod release rn and on that I feel like I'm performing very well but after trying CS I definitely don't feel quite as comfortable as I did on my zero. I think I can get to the same level, but it will probably take several weeks to a couple months. I already play relatively high sens (800 dpi 1.5 in cs) which is ~35cm/360, which I think makes it a bit harder.
@@inkiblackman2625 I’m actually laughing now. As if we didn’t have enough similar dilemmas I have also been playing COD recently but not BO6, the latest MW and mainly CS2. The skypad is perfect for games involving tracking but as you mentioned, in CS I have also noticed the increased difficulty in aiming in CS compared to the Zero. I went from around 42cm/360 on my Zero to now 60cm/360 on the Skypad 4 to try to be able to play well😂 I’m definitely not bad by any means and in many ways, some aspects of aim have become easier but overall I’m still not as good in CS as I was on the Zero. Only issue with the mid that I;ve had is that it doesn't stick well to the desk do to the less thickness of poron. That and the fact that it doesn't have the raised surface like the other thicknesses. One of my favorite things about the artisan's was that the pad surface sat slightly about the stitching. No other pad was doing this at the time and the mid doesn't have this. But none the less I might buy one at some point. Although to me I haven't used my artisans in a while regardless. I've found that the Saturn Pro soft is just such a well balanced all around pad that also doesnt attract or get hair/lint stuck in it like my zero does. Just feels smoother too.
Been using a raiden mid and a zero soft for some time now and got a zero mid about a month ago and definitely agree with this pad being a jack of all trades. imo this pad is great for tacfps and for tracking heavy games like apex :)

i honestly think the same when playing tracking games on my zero soft. its not bad but if its a tiny bit faster it would be great. damn i think i need to get one now
I would probably get this if it had a hard base. I'm old, I game in bed, hard cloth hybrid pads like the Steelpad 5L (which costs $20,000 on eBay right now) are a must because the pad itself needs to provide a non-flexible base when gaming. 1. Jack of all trades, master of none. If you can only play on one mousepad it makes sense to go for balance in all aspects since you do not want to be limited heavily in any aspect. In reality, when we sit down to play we know what we going to play for the most part, so taking the pad that performs best and gives the largest advantage (mudpad for cs, glass/hybrid etc for tracking heavy games) is fairly straight forward and is also similar for cheesing kvk scores. 2. Artisan mid pads afaik do not stick well at all to some ( most?) surfaces and will require you to constantly water the desk to make them stick via vacuum. If your desk works well with mid thats lucky but for many it literally slides around. Soft is much better, xsoft best for this aspect. Its an interesting theory and for a while for the same reason I believed something like the otsu is the best since it felt extremely balanced in all aspects, but today I think its best to maximize advantage and just play the pad the game needs.

A friend of mine bought my Otsu Soft and is now abroad, so I’m going off memory. I’d say it’s similar to the Zero Mid, though it likely lacks the consistency that a thinner pad like the Mid versions can provide.
Just got two from my recent trip to Japan but my arm keeps getting stuck and using a sleeve is even worse. Anyone have a good tip or sleeve recommendation?
I believe the one MattyOW uses is really good and doesn't stick to any pad (because it's not nylon). The Prosicion "Kontrol" Knit Fabric (I think it's the "Spandex Knit")
"Mid" is the thickness for the Zero. Each Artisan pad comes in three thicknesses: Mid, Soft, xSoft. Mid being the thinnest at 3mm. xSoft being the thickest. The xSoft pads are extremely plushy feeling. The zero mid is a nice pad. Though I personally believe the best balance is the Hayate Otsu soft. glasspads don't really have much balance, they're primarily based around speed. Some are more controllable than others. Mouse skates play a huge factor with this.
Or try out a LGG Saturn pro, it is advertised as a medium/kontrol pad. Personally for me LGG Saturn pro sits just in the upper range of control pads/at the lower end of medium pads, similar with the Artisan zero soft/xsoft. I have the same mousepad and i cant use it for sh!t when playing valorant. Its too fast and i cant control it properly compared to my 6yold qck heavy
My tracking is insane on it tho for sure
How does it compare to the hayate otsu soft?
I would like to know this also.
A friend of mine bought my Otsu Soft and is now abroad, so I’m going off memory. I’d say it’s similar to the Zero Mid, though it likely lacks the consistency that a thinner pad like the Mid versions can provide.
Do you have shidenkaiv2v can u test diff mousefeet/skates on it pls 😅🙂😊
I don't currently own the shidenkai, however, I will keep an eye out for it!
@@Keeahh thanks I’ll give it a try!
I guess the perfect mousepad does exist?
Cant trust you after you tried to shoot a maurice with a rocket launcher...
lol that one's on me. I play the game so randomly, I don't even know what I'm doing half the time

just spend 115€ bc of this video
Is any difference between the zero and mid? Currently using a zero
Edit: also what about glasspad?
"Mid" is the thickness for the Zero. Each Artisan pad comes in three thicknesses: Mid, Soft, xSoft. Mid being the thinnest at 3mm. xSoft being the thickest. The xSoft pads are extremely plushy feeling. The zero mid is a nice pad. Though I personally believe the best balance is the Hayate Otsu soft.
glasspads don't really have much balance, they're primarily based around speed. Some are more controllable than others. Mouse skates play a huge factor with this.
So what are you saying is I only need this mousepad and I wont need any other mousepads for any other game? Kinda insane ngl
kind of... in my opinion the zero soft is such a balanced pad that it doesn't really have a weakness regarding aiming situations or categories
Or try out a LGG Saturn pro, it is advertised as a medium/kontrol pad. Personally for me LGG Saturn pro sits just in the upper range of control pads/at the lower end of medium pads, similar with the Artisan zero soft/xsoft.
Veil something like a RIZZ doodle is at the lower end of control/slow pads being very controlled.
And a Endgame Gear-EM-C sits in the middle for control pads.
I have not tried the Artisan zero MID, but i would guess, to me the MID would probable land more in the higher end of medium pad category.
what is ur mouse btw?
it's the OP1 8k. If you're interested, I made a video about why I chose it out of all of the other top-tier wireless options!
