Overcoming a 150 hp difference must feel good for all Case fans. Comparison racing generally is done with like machines. No dog in the hunt here. But come on man!
I don't know about other farmers, but I'm not really concerned with a tractor's drag racing abilities. More important: 1. Reliability - which tractor is gonna be able to pull that silage wagon for 14-16 hrs/day for a couple weeks with minimal breakdowns? 2. Cost & Cost of operation - which tractor is best value for money, and which is more efficient in fuel use and operator comfort?
Add in : Which dealer is local and actually stocks some parts, and has mechanics that can know where to begin fixing the equipment, and which manufacture is going to be in business a few years from now.
It only has 690 PEAK horsepower. Plus, it doesn't take all of 550HP to pull that trailer - the case is just a better tractor for this. Isn't that what the comparison is about?
Rancid Reducer When pulling up that hill trying to be the fastest they will be using all the horsepower and torque available, however when cruising on flat ground they wouldn't be using all of their power.
It is not JD boy crying the human crys for his vote. If something's happen wrong. Haha. I am a JD fan. Hehe. I just felt sad when John Deere get worst. But that's okey I know that it is a Machine and I'm not the worker of every JD I see. Okey.
It's not always about higher horse power, it's m8re about how much of tge horse power is converted into torque. Years back there was a video of a Scania R500hp drag racing a Volvo which had superior horsepower, sometimes above 600hp ( I forgot the exact number) The Scania left the Volvo for dead, made a doughnut spin and was out of sight before the Volvo could arrive at the doughnut spot for its turn. I believe the CaseIH with even slightly lower horses would still have won.
This is bollocks. We run 3 delta tracks and 3 qaudtracs and the versatiles pull so much better. And they don’t shit the gearbox our whilst they are doing it.
Has nothing to do with max hp. It doesn't take 600hp to move those 30k lb trailers! Look how much faster the case transmission shifts. They also have skip shift so it can jump 2 gears at a time. It's not always about max power. It's how u use it. I bet a 540 model case would beat the 550 versatile.
Ok so you declare HP has nothing to do with pulling? Torque has a large part in it. What are the torque numbers? Thats right the Case has the advantage and Hp does allow a speedier time to speed. Bold claiming a underpowered tractor be compared with a machine 100+ hp more powerful. Mismatch implements then! Spend that cash on your explanation of power.
frikkies333 that might be your opinion and I respect it but this test honestly proves nothing about how well the tractors are versatile is great and anyways the case has 70 hp on the versatile
It's the dumbest tracked tractor test I have ever seen! How can you test heavy, pulling optimized tractor for speed performance.... It's like attaching Bugatti and Ferrari to the plow and see which is faster... It's idiot. Delta track is more than 3 tons heavier than Quad... Idiot once again. Pozdrawiam.
Add in a dry track fer the close pullers on the first race. Then they reverse and wet the close track when outer is dry. Dry pulling track won every time. Dumb
if the Versatile had a CVT like a Vario drive and not an outdated power shift it may have won well its still better then a New Holland hahahahaha. i want to fucking burn our NH the old Steiger does better then the NH.

If both were 550 or 620 would be a more fair comparison.

👏👏👍👍✌
Case 620 vs... versatile 550? That’s a bit like comparing apples to oranges
I'm watching racing Turtles now! Lol! I need to sleep...liked it anyway.
Yeah, from what I know I'ma take Versatile.
Realy 700 hp vs 550 hp ??
Which one is 700hp? That's an exaggeration. The Case is 620, and Versatile is 550
You cannot compare Tractors with over 100BHP power difference
Doesn't seem very fair seeing as the versatile is 550 hp whereas the quadtrac is 690 hp

Another jd boy crying not fair. Somethings will never change

the trackor with the most horsepower wins. In other news, water is wet
But is water actually wet or does it just make things wet 🤔🤣
that's a real fair comparison

The case driver starts out way faster and that's what makes him win

620hp vs 550hp ???
in fact the ih 620 is almost 700hp so...
Jens Harder its kw not hp
Matthys Louw what, do the case have 620hp, and the versatile 550kw, ??? Explain!
Jens Harder no both are kw i may be wrong it can be hp
Matthys Louw never mind
Anyhow CASEIH is the best ever
frikkies333 that might be your opinion and I respect it but this test honestly proves nothing about how well the tractors are versatile is great and anyways the case has 70 hp on the versatile
