Installing LED Angel Eye Projector Headlights on Navara d40 Kingcab - 4x4 Modification

- In this episode I'm working on my Nissan Navara d40 Kingcab. I'm replacing the OEM Headlights with some Chinese Angel Eye Headlights that have some LED sidelights.
Its mainly for aesthetic's but they do seem to have a better light pattern due to the globes.
UPDATE - Since filming this the lights have become faulty & I have replaced them with some custom lights. There will be a new video soon to go over this!

Hi. thanks for the awesome video. I followed it through until I came to connecting the angel light. The nav has a motor levelling actuator (Renault 7700 429 737) with three wires - R / B / V. What did you do connecting to this?
Hey! Unfortunately these dont have adjusters like This, mine didn't have any either from factory so I didn't have to worry about them. Id say unplug the adjusters & then manually adjust with a socket, theres two adjusting nuts on the back of the lights if I remember correctly! Sorry for the late reply also 🙏

Would like to do my D40 but watching this puts me right off...Will you come and do mine please.
It was a right nightmare, I actually changed mine for the original ones and got them customised by Em Tuning in Northamptonshire. They're now HID & led units and much easier to setup!
Hi mate I know this video was uploaded a while ago but i've just bought some of these lights for my Nav and wondered if you could clarify how you wired them up? I see there's a plug for the main lights so that's simple enough but what did you wire the others to?

I can't remember exactly as I've now got new headlights again. I do remember the red & white side light wires on the factory loom were connected to the appropriate wires on the angel eyes. The side lights and halo wires can be joined together from the light to one connector for each pair.

@Trent Rowing Club Hmm not sure how i did it now, i think it was straight forward swap aprt from the side lights, once id found out which one was for the side lights i just spliced the side light connections together, I think i went over the connectors on the head light with a 12v battery to see which did what
@@PrimalNomad I have a Nissan Navara D40 2005 Double Cabin Pickup model and its RHD and am from Uganda in East Africa but i have failed to source for exactly the ones that can fit on my right hand drive car . Please advise me.
I have the same truck as you and would like to know which company you purchased your lights from. I went on e-bay and only found companies in Thailand selling them.
I got them through powerful Uk - Although I have now retrofitted my original lights with Morimoto HID Angel Eye Projectors and they are massively better. check out EM tuning :)

Yup! You're telling me, stupid design choice that was made easier on the facelift models, but only slightly.

Powerful UK sell them, the link is in the description :) - although I have since upgraded my lights again with morimoto projectors from EM Tuning!
Unfortunately I can’t find any that will fit my 14 plate seems they only fit up to the 09 model
Ah no! That's such a shame, definately contact EM Tuning to see if there's anythibg you can do to your stock ones. Mine look amazing now and the light output is amazing with the morimoto lenses
