    Today, Trevor is evaluating Hearthstone's latest addition to their wood stove lineup, the Lincoln model. It maintains the exceptional qualities of their earlier models while distinguishing itself as a more compact version. Despite its smaller size, this stove doesn't compromise on heating power; it's a top-tier heating appliance. In his upcoming video, Trevor will provide a comprehensive review of the product and even demonstrate a live burn test to determine its log capacity. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this stove, so please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! Stay tuned for more exciting videos in the near future.

    Great video.
    I use the Hearthstone Tribute and the soapstone heat is soft and comfortable.
    It can withstand Japan's harsh winters.

      @@keystoneprepper it’s a nice stove for sure but it has a manufacturer defect with the gasket in the catalyst tray. The manufacturer was notified two weeks ago and I have yet to hear from them. I’m pretty disappointed.

    It has small surface area. Look at the kratki stove 9kw. Good idea with temp.measurement👍 did You think about controling air related to the temp. Of exhaust?
    Area m2= 9kw*0.7effic.=6.3kw/50W/m2=126m2 heated area.

    What do you think of the catalyst configuration? Seems like a poor place to have it right under the flue collar.

    Soapstone heat may last longer but it also takes longer to heat up so it’s really a wash between soapstone and iron or steel. Sure do look pretty though!

      True! But it seems as though soapstone emits that soft, gentle heat. And it is not noisy like a plate steel stove that ticks and clicks all the time. Cast iron has so many pieces to it that eventually there are seams that need attention. All in all the newer stoves are much better than what our ancestors used.

    • @wobdeehomestead1464
      @wobdeehomestead1464 7 місяців тому

      Yes the soapstone stoves release a nice radiant heat. I’m a fan of the steel fire box cast iron surround stoves like the Jotul F45 and the PE Alderlea series. They give off a gentle radiant heat similar to soapstone and don’t have all those gaskets or cemented seams like a true cast iron stove.

      Oh, okay. That makes sense. I was thinking there might be an overall standard that was the same for any state in the USA. Some woodstoves made especially for mobile homes come with a minimum back and side space that seems to apply countrywide, but maybe I misread. So I thought maybe this had one also.

    A lovely stove. I'd like one of those in a small cozy cabin.
    Could you broaden your videos and make the effort to try these stoves in a cabin, to show in real world how they perform ? That would be such fun and enjoyable videos to watch. ???

    I dont care if the thing walks and talks. I know better and i refuse to deal with fifteen and a half inch logs,so they will fit in a stove. That small stove is just going to be a constant battle just like every other small wood stove.

    You have to go through dealers (middlemen) to buy these....no thanks! There is ZERO benefit for customers using a dealer for anything.
