    What is your take on the Naim? I have a Naim Nait 5 integrated I bought 17 years ago that I use in a second system but have wondered about the olive Naim components.

      I've been collecting the Naim Olive series amps just because they look unique esthetically. The Naim Olive sounds brighter and more revealing compared to the newer Naim black box which sounds rounded, but I feel that there's a subtle difference between the two and I would like to say that once you're in good Naim amp territory you won't hear a significant difference. Be sure to check the other videos that I recorded with the Naim Nait 5i-2 integrated amp.

    hi. thanks for posting the demo. do you know why this tube buffer got erased on Amazon? it's like Amazon purposely blocked the unit, and the product page just vanished. i am about to buy one but am worried that there is something seriously wrong with it. please let me know if you hear anything regarding that. thanks.

      I think the Yaqin factory in China was temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Their sound quality, as well as build quality, are superb and you won't be disappointed.

    Hi, how do the Linn Kans compare to other bookshelf speakers like the Harbeths and ls3/5a

    • @ysk249
      @ysk249  4 роки тому +2

      The Linn Kans with the REL T5i are dynamic and fun to listen to. The Harbeths need to be paired with high-end tube amps to sound decent. Otherwise, they sound small, flat, and unengaging.

      @@ysk249 Hi, many thanks for your honest reply! My favourite speakers atm are my Linn Kans mk2, beautiful open and lively sound without ever sounding harsh. Plenty of detail and drive.
      I am surprised with your opinion on the Harbeth speakers as I have read and watched so many positive reviews about them and I was, seriously considering buying a pair.. But now I don't think I will waste my money!
      Do you think a good Vavle amp will match we with the Kans? If so, what model of Vavle amp do you recommend?

    Hi. How do you compare the a23 vs naim?

    • @ysk249
      @ysk249  3 роки тому

      Both sound great. A23 puts out a few watts of pure class A power and makes my speakers come alive.
