Amazing video, man. Im so lucky to have found this. The majority of the videos are from turbosmart and none them show the installation process. Only a piece here or there. Theyre mostly programming and using the controller. So thank you so much. I opened the kit and was really overwhelmed by the baggie with the spare parts lol. Was glad you mentioned it was a universal kit for many cars! Now with the layout for the vacuum lines i was given, i can get this put in. Thank you so much!
Kyle, nice job on the instructions and installation. I had a very similar controller back in 1988 that I installed on my 323 GT Turbo. A great addition to a turbocharged car.
This is has to be the best video I seen on installing the boost controller. You really go into details and explain everything not like other videos I seen. It really helped with installing my E-Boost2 controller.
So glad it helped! We really try to be very thorough. It's much easier to scrub through something you don't need than to have to watch 5 videos to find one tiny detail :)
Yes, as long as you configure it correctly per the instructions here www.turbosmart.com/wp-content/uploads/instructions/Boost_Controller_Electronic_Electric_eBoost_Street_40psi_Installation_Fitting_Setup_Instructions/051412582277.html

Great technical talk, and the FM Beard Parade continues! 😜
It is Colorado after all! lol
Thank you for doing this. Looking forward to part 2 to see if my settings are inline with Mike's programming. There is always something to learn here.
You could always 3d print a mount that you could use with your controller install.
We really like the way it fits into that little cubby, but, that's a good suggestion. We'll pass it along to our development team - Thanks!
Please assistance, I installed the turbosmart bov for diesel , I have an modded ISF2.8TDI....I do not know which way to place the controller arrows
The piston will be closed in default so, whichever way the piston opens is the way the air should exit.
Does this have any over boost safety?
