  • It's time to give this monitor the attention and documentation it deserves! I've been hard at work with a few others on this video, and it's going to be a real treat.
There's a lot of new information and content to look forward to in this upcoming video. The pacing and quality are going to be dramatically improved from the original. It's not going to only just be a remaster, so please look forward to it!

AMAZING, I have seen one of those once when working at a hospital radiology
So I asked if when they are updating the sector if I could have it, they told me another Doctor already came up and offered a shit ton of cash for that monitor
that they are now just waiting for the renovations to start to be able to sell to that guy

When??? You know that with a configuration of 3 monitors like this, an RGB splitter and some filters you can get 4k and color, and since there are no pixel grids, one would be able to build a hefty triniscope with a lifelike image quality.

Maybe some 4K CRT projectors existed. With phosphor colors instead of filters, they could achieve surprising power efficiency.

@@vaclavtrpisovsky It's possible, although many expected NTSC color coverage, which made it harder to use phosphors, having monochrome red. green and blue CRTs.The increased power consumption comes exactly from the insanely bright requirements, as the picture had to pass through a color filter gel, which was like 1 inch thick.

@@dosdoktor Interesting. I still don't think all three used the same phosphor, as white CRTs usually use a blue and yellow one without much pure red and green wavelengths.

If they'd improve that tech, they could easily invent other stuff. Maybe they did, and they assumed that it was a possible national security risk and with the help of ML they have abondonned.
