We are a homeschool family and I would have loved to find that “ homeschool “ dictionary! Clever idea to use the irons as bookends. I could never get my husband to model.🤣
Julie, loved your estate sale finds! Had I been there, I would have purchased the whole kit and kaboodle of the Longaburger items! I'm nuts about all their line, and when I am out thrifting and see anything, my heart jumps with excitement!
I used to have one of those matchbox. I haven’t gotten to the end of the video yet, but I sure hope you bought it! It would’ve been something I would’ve snatched up in a heartbeat.
You go, girl! You are putting out those videos. Not only are you busy in the way you show us. You are also busy behind the scenes doing what you can to keep both your family and your UA-cam people entertained and satisfied. Thanks! I enjoy your content on both of your channels.
My husband is 6’7” tall with a size 15 shoe! You better believe it’s hard finding jeans long enough for him!! So when I do come across his size at resale shops here in Dallas I scoop them up fast!!
You did fantastic on your finds. And Hubby made out also. It was fun watching you shop. You certainly are collecting beautiful pieces for your lovely home. Till next time, take care.❤❤❤
Hi Julie🤗 Sooo much good Longaberger at that sale! The dishes were pricey, , but probably a fraction of their original price. I loved the copper piece and old dictionary you picked up. They’ll look perfect with your decor💕
Hi Julie! At the estate sale if it was in a more neutral color I would definitely grab that two tier lazy Susan. And that little footstool was so sweet. But you had a great haul. I could've used that little iron to be a bookend for my cookbooks. You have a great day ❤️.
Hi Julie! Ooo I love the wood match box! I'll be on the look out for one when we get moved. I'd like to have one by the fireplace, but for decor.. probably put a piece of greenery in it. I love the old cast iron irons. I have a couple that are small like that one & very heavy. I'd love to have one with the wooden handle. The copper piece may be an old sifter/colander, but with no real handles it may just be a decor piece.🤷♀️ But I love it too, its so pretty! Oh goodness all those old books! Love your dictionary! I love to decorate with old books. I got most of mine when we had our thrift store in in TN. I loved the little stool that was there by the fireplace with the flowers on top & what looked like a dark green brocade fabric. Oh wow do think I've ever seen the old tow sacks in a GW! But I would def love to find some more! I have one that's made of burlap but wells love to have the thick drop cloth type like those. The florals & the bowl go really well together. I love when i can find something nice for my husband too!😊 He's not tall but he's a big built man, wears a XXL, and some XL shirts or a17.5" Button up.. mainly for his neck. And those just seem to be picked over everywhere 🤷♀️ But i grab any nice ones i see. You grabbed some great pieces on this trip, thanks for sharing! I pray you have a blessed weekend!🙏🏻😊
you should try putting alittle bit of cardboard in the matchbox halfway down creating a false bottom and do q-tips in the top and Cottonballs in the bottom. And the royal dalton bowl is worth abit of money too.
I have never been to an estate sale. There was SO MUCh stuff! I once had an iron iron . Somehow It was lost . I love the antique dictionary and copper piece. Beautiful. Love all your stuff- the florals are beautiful . Spring already?! Larry did well w the jeans .,wow…great find. 🌻🌻🌻🌻 Have a great weekend , xx
I homeschooled my children. I would’ve loved having the beautiful dictionary in my library collection. The bowl was so pretty and loved the spring from Hobby Lobby, I’ll have to go and see if my Hobby Lobby has any. Julie thank you for sharing this great video. God bless you and your beautiful family.
Hi Julie!! I have only been to one estate sale but I loved it!! Everything you got was awesome!! The antique dictionary was my favorite!! I love old books!! The bowl is really beautiful ❤️ take care 😊
I so love this channel so much. Thank you Julie for being you and sharing your beautiful life with us. It makes me forget my problems for a brief moment its so pure.
Love the oval seeving bowl. I m still on the hunt for white serving plates. Love how you hang them in your kitchen. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed weekend x
Love the florals and the bowl. It's also an expensive brand. Great purchase on the jeans for your husband also. Also, the copper bowl/piece was beautiful. Loved the design.
Hi Julie Marley Bedford here, love the match holder with striker as well. I have one that looks different but has the same eagle. Julie, you do not normally do pinks but you definitely have the character and capacity to appreciate pink tones and tints. Sometimes they just speak to you. The dried flowers are lovely. Nice legs😊 and that reminds me, My leggy man needs to chuff off to the thrift store too. He needs new jeans as winter is a coming in Oz. God Bless you and yours ❤❤❤
Love watching you! I have a couple of the vintage match holders in my bathroom on the wall next to the vanity. One to hold my brush and "rat-tail" comb and one for my toothpaste & toothbrush. This keeps them off my very tiny vanity and looks much better than the plastic or metal contemporary pieces.
Thought about y'all first when saw that an escaped prisoner from a hospital around Houston area. Stay safe sweet friends. PS love the haul n saves me money watching you shop 😂 I would be buying too much 😉
That matchbox for q tips isn’t real sanitary unless you leave it in the package which wouldn’t look all that good! Since you have candles in your bathroom why not use it for matches?
The jeans were an awesome find I can never find my husband’s size in a thrift store ,we even have a hard time at retail he will only wear a certain style also, I think that cooper piece is decorative to,looking forward to your bathroom makeover , love the thrifting and hauls ❤have a wonderful weekend Julie 😊
Hey Julia..I read a ladies comment about the copper that you bought and she said it is a strainer..I believe she is right..But it will look good wherever you put it..
Some cast iron skillets are numbered. So I'm thinking why not irons. Still don't know what it means unless it's the number they put in order when they were mad .Maybe one of the third one made . A lot.
I love estate sales- is it me or were the prices a little high on a lot of items? I often wonder what happens to the item not sold? Do you ever go on last days when the discounts are 50% or more?
You really scored some great finds Julie. The copper piece is a strainer. I have one identical to it that I purchased along with all my copper pots and tea kettles when we were stationed in Turkey years ago and I just use mine as a hanging decor piece. I love old copper items. The little cast iron iron is cute. I've never seen one that small. Thanks for sharing your haul, God bless🥰
Julie so many great things at the estate sale! I have 3 old metal tackle boxes that I use to coral bits and bobs, especially office and craft supplies. They look awesome on my bookshelves in my home office. I have a 1935 Thorndike Century Junior Dictionary that was my mother’s from elementary school! When you picked up the iron I thought “those make great doorstops” and I have one that I use for my bedroom door. The copper piece it’s either a colander or part of a steamer set.
You are so cute...the dictionary is not home school & office....it's home, (comma) school, (comma) and office. I don't believe that "home schooling" as we know it was as common back in the early 1900s.
Love all the items you found, but a special woohoo for Larry’s jeans. I always like to try and find my husband something once in a while. This way I can justify all my thrift trips! Lol
I have the longaberger Christmas mug shown at the beginning of the video. I found it at an antique store, that was a great price! I love it for the feel and weight. Hope I can find more! I would love to go thrifting with you, Julie!
I think its intended use, is for washing berries, but this copper piece is made in a berry strainers " image" and can be decor, pasta strainer, etc.
That’s what I thought. Or it could be used like a steamer nested inside of a larger pot
We are a homeschool family and I would have loved to find that “ homeschool “ dictionary! Clever idea to use the irons as bookends. I could never get my husband to model.🤣
That dictionary is amazing! 😂
Major score on the jeans! He did a good job modelling them too.
Thank you! 😊
I think the dictionary was for home, school, or office. Not homeschool.
You’re correct. I should put my glasses on lol
It’s a dictionary, it would be mine…we live in a school house!😂❤
@@patarmstrong2304. How cool😮😮😮
Hi Julie that was a fun thrifting trip.🌻🐓🌻
Julie, loved your estate sale finds! Had I been there, I would have purchased the whole kit and kaboodle of the Longaburger items! I'm nuts about all their line, and when I am out thrifting and see anything, my heart jumps with excitement!
Me too, I love that Longaburger stuff! 😄 but they had that stuff priced uppppp there .
For the whole set of longaburger dishes that 200.00 price was not a bad price.
Love everything especially the copper piece! Cotton rounds may fit in that cute wooden piece. Love the name Addison, that’s my maiden name 😊
Yes I love the match box . I can’t wait to see the finds styled in your house .
I used to have one of those matchbox. I haven’t gotten to the end of the video yet, but I sure hope you bought it! It would’ve been something I would’ve snatched up in a heartbeat.
Thank you! 😊
That match stick holder is amazing. My mom used to have one just like it. The q tips were a good idea too.
You go, girl! You are putting out those videos. Not only are you busy in the way you show us. You are also busy behind the scenes doing what you can to keep both your family and your UA-cam people entertained and satisfied. Thanks! I enjoy your content on both of your channels.
That's so kind of you to say! Thank you. 😊
You're welcome!!
Oh Julie that copper piece I love too! It is gorgeous! So happy that you found some great finds
Thank you! 😊
I loved the sack cloths when looking at notions/craft stuff. Would make some awesome indoor or outdoor pillows.
The oval bowl was a gorgeous nice find. It’s always a plus when we wife’s can find something that works for our husbands 😊. God bless…..🍃♥️🍃
Thank you! 😊
I would have grabbed the yellow wear bowl at the estate sale ! It’s been on my list for a long time!
My husband is 6’7” tall with a size 15 shoe! You better believe it’s hard finding jeans long enough for him!! So when I do come across his size at resale shops here in Dallas I scoop them up fast!!
Oh I know the struggle!
You did fantastic on your finds. And Hubby made out also. It was fun watching you shop. You certainly are collecting beautiful pieces for your lovely home. Till next time, take care.❤❤❤
Thank you so much! 😊
Hi Julie🤗 Sooo much good Longaberger at that sale! The dishes were pricey, , but probably a fraction of their original price.
I loved the copper piece and old dictionary you picked up. They’ll look perfect with your decor💕
Thank you! 😊
Wonderful finds today. I hated your qtips didn't fit in the match box.😊
Thank you! 😊 I know, I was so bummed!
Hi Julie! At the estate sale if it was in a more neutral color I would definitely grab that two tier lazy Susan. And that little footstool was so sweet. But you had a great haul. I could've used that little iron to be a bookend for my cookbooks. You have a great day ❤️.
Could use the copper piece as a strainer or cover a dish. Steam comes out. Hopefully bugs wont get in!

Julie, Dollar Tree has Q-tips that are smaller so they might fit. Some great finds.
I've nalways wanted the old fashioned iron.
The punch hole copper piece would make a nice design on top of a cake using powdered sugar.
I never even thought of that! What a great idea!
you should try putting alittle bit of cardboard in the matchbox halfway down creating a false bottom and do q-tips in the top and Cottonballs in the bottom. And the royal dalton bowl is worth abit of money too.
Beautiful bowl! Great price on jeans!!
Thank you! 😊
So fun to see everything you find!

Estate sales are so much fun! I hope you get to go to one sometime 😊 and Thank you! 😊
Julie,
This estate sale had really high prices!!!
Compared to some I go to they were fairly reasonable to me.

I so love this channel so much. Thank you Julie for being you and sharing your beautiful life with us. It makes me forget my problems for a brief moment its so pure.
Could the copper piece be a strainer? That’s what it reminds me of. 😊
That dictionary may mean for Home, School, and Office.
I think it did too.
It's a Sad Iron. Yes, they make sizes.
Love the steamer, dried flowers, and jeans. 👍💕
Great finds once again! How about cotton balls in the little match box? 💕
Thank you for sharing!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Great haul from both places. 👌🏻❤️🙏🏻
Pretty sure the copper thing is a strainer...a real use piece 😊
Love the oval seeving bowl. I m still on the hunt for white serving plates. Love how you hang them in your kitchen.
Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed weekend x
Love the florals and the bowl. It's also an expensive brand. Great purchase on the jeans for your husband also. Also, the copper bowl/piece was beautiful. Loved the design.
I think that would be pretty with a light in the back copper piece
I loved the stool at the estzte sale. Grate finds
Ty great video
Thank you ☺️!
Yes that's over 100 year old book and yes that's a good price on those jeans
Thank you! 😊

LOVE THIS
The oval dish is marked Royal Doulton is a very good and expensive makr.
Love watching you! I have a couple of the vintage match holders in my bathroom on the wall next to the vanity. One to hold my brush and "rat-tail" comb and one for my toothpaste & toothbrush. Wonderful treasures you find today!!!❤️👍🏻🧺🥌
Thank you so much! 😊
I think you got a good deal on the jeans for Larry, very nice and looked good on him.
Great finds❤tfs
Great stuff at the estate sale! I think you got the only stuff that was reasonable priced!
That matchbox for q tips isn’t real sanitary unless you leave it in the package which wouldn’t look all that good! Since you have candles in your bathroom why not use it for matches?
How cute your hubby modeling his hot pants lol
The jeans were an awesome find I can never find my husband’s size in a thrift store ,we even have a hard time at retail he will only wear a certain style also, I think that cooper piece is decorative to,looking forward to your bathroom makeover , love the thrifting and hauls ❤have a wonderful weekend Julie 😊
Hi Julie we. Share the same taste ! I enjoy watching you so much!
Love your finds Julie. Great deal on the jeans. 😊
Love the dictionary 😊 great haul. Thank you for sharing 🎉
Hey Julia..I read a ladies comment about the copper that you bought and she said it is a strainer..I believe she is right..But it will look good wherever you put it..
Thank you! 😊
It could also be the steamer pot...
Cinch jeans are very expensive. You got a screaming deal! I think they priced them very well. Great haul😊
Show us how you styled the bowl
If not Qtips maybe cotton balls or little cotton pads
That’s perfect. Thank you! 😊
Hi, the iron came in different weights.
Cheers Chrissy from New Zealand 😊
Some cast iron skillets are numbered. So I'm thinking why not irons. Still don't know what it means unless it's the number they put in order when they were mad .Maybe one of the third one made . A lot.
It's not saying "homeschool". There's a comma between home and school. It's a really prettty book and I would have grabbed it too!
If you burn candles in the bathroom then go ahead and put in matches
when I saw the spine separating , I was going to guess around 1914 fro some reason, that book was giving me 1914. I don't know why.
Love the matchsafe, and that beautiful bowl. You got such lovely things today.
How did you resist the crafting stuff? I would have got it all 😂
I love estate sales- is it me or were the prices a little high on a lot of items? I often wonder what happens to the item not sold? Do you ever go on last days when the discounts are 50% or more?
Julie, I would love to be your thrifting buddy ❤🙏🏼🙌
I think we would have a blast! 😊
Brass strainer
😊😊😊😊😊😊
Awesome things. Think it would b nice to keep the camera on your pieces.
Julie did you find my pictures on IG?
Had problems to post them by mail x
Love the match holder too.
Thank you! 😊
I put toothpicks in one of mine
You really scored some great finds Julie. The copper piece is a strainer. I have one identical to it that I purchased along with all my copper pots and tea kettles when we were stationed in Turkey years ago and I just use mine as a hanging decor piece. I love old copper items. The little cast iron iron is cute. I've never seen one that small. Thanks for sharing your haul, God bless🥰
Thank you! 😊
Means 3 pounds on the iron
Love that little iron. You got some really nice things. Hope you have a great weekend.❤
Thank you! 😊
I just read where someone said how unsanitary putting the Q-tips in the matchbox would be. I don't think she meant she was going to eat the Q-tips.
🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Julie so many great things at the estate sale! I have 3 old metal tackle boxes that I use to coral bits and bobs, especially office and craft supplies. They look awesome on my bookshelves in my home office. I have a 1935 Thorndike Century Junior Dictionary that was my mother’s from elementary school! When you picked up the iron I thought “those make great doorstops” and I have one that I use for my bedroom door. The copper piece it’s either a colander or part of a steamer set.
That is so creative! I love how you repurpose the tackle boxes.
Very nice stuff from the estate sale! The jeans were a really great bargain. Have a great weekend.
Thank you ☺️!
The cinch jeans were a steal!!!! Your finds at the estate sale were great finds
Thank you! 😊
The silver tray with the holes I think is a vintage colander. The other bowl and flower are perfect. Great finds today.
Thank you! 😊
What about dental pics in your antique matchbox?
You got some good pieces of decor . Love the copper piece with the punch hole design . Enjoyed ❤
I love that copper piece too! 😊Thank you! 😊
Oh please please did you pick up the butter press
No 😭😭 I didn’t 😞
You are so cute...the dictionary is not home school & office....it's home, (comma) school, (comma) and office. I don't believe that "home schooling" as we know it was as common back in the early 1900s.

Thank you! 😊 Right!
Everything is so pretty!!
Thank you! 😊
I have a copper steamer that looks simular to yours. I also collect old irons for bookends.
That is so cool! I love old irons.
I have the longaberger Christmas mug shown at the beginning of the video. I found it at an antique store, that was a great price! I love it for the feel and weight. Hope I can find more! I would love to go thrifting with you, Julie!
I love the copper piece, so pretty. I would have gotten that bowl too. I thought you would get those tow sacks.
Thank you! 😊
