Poor Christoph! I knew him well at Leeds University, and he so kindly gave me his academic gown for my graduation. I still have it. The report is correct in surmising he had a drink problem. Pretty standard TV picture quality for 1989 to be honest. The only time picture quality was worse was if it was American made. They used a system called NTSC which has far fewer pixels and much worse picture quality.

Good evening everyone. Most memorable reconstruction I remember from seeing this as a 12 year old still excited by Christmas was the abduction of the coin dealer by the fake police. Can’t remember the others.
What happens to the money coated in red dye in the Securicor raids? It can't be used again, so does the Bank of England give them a new batch of notes?
Remember the Christoph Schliack reconstruction as clear as a bell. According to the BBC Genome project his case was possibly going to be featured in one of the CW File progs, although at the time of going to press it wasn’t 100% sure that that was the case actually featured. Anyone know if it was?
How did you find it on the Genome? I looked there right after episode but nothing was showing for me. I found an actor that "might" have played him in a reconstruction in early 90s but it was sketchy info.
