After yrs of using other high end skincare lines and many $$$ spent not seeing results to my skin that were touted by those brands... (frankly speaking my skin was looking awful and I was constantly experiencing dryness and sensitivity) I saw this video and took the plunge. And, I have never looked back or regretted my decision. My skin looks great, feels great and keeps getting better as I continue using Chanel Sublimage. My top fav Sublimage products are the Cleanser, Masque, Eye Cream-(holy grail product), and newer Serum/Oil. Thank You Erin! for this terrific and comprehensive tutorial of Chanel Sublimage...it saved my skin!
I also started using the eye cream about four months ago but I can’t tell if it’s working and the price just went up. Can you see a huge difference? I do love it though
@@g.970 Hello, yes, I have been using the eye cream for yrs. I have tried others from time to time but always come back to the Chanel Sublimage Yeux. Not one wrinkle under my eye area, and I truly believe it is due to this cream...ppl always ask me what I use. A little bit goes a very long way.
@@jupitergrls thank you. In my 20’s and 30’s I was using Vaseline every night as eye cream because there was no such thing as dedicated eye cream. I’m now almost 75 and I have no wrinkles under my eyes and very slight crows feet. My big thing is the blue tint under my eyes so I use the Sublimage eye serum, followed by the Sublimage eye cream and then the Sublimage corrector/concealer. Fingers crossed. I do love the Chanel products.
Great video. I love the sublimage line. Funnily I started using it after suffering from adult acne. This line has helped soothe my parched skin while lightening the scar marks.
I never knew about the social conscience aspect of Chanel - building schools is a fine way to support and repay the community. I've been using the Sublimage l'Essence Lumiere for a couple of weeks. Immediately upon applying, my skin looks almost poreless. It creates a strange illusion of dryness, but I think that's more from its smoothing and tightening powers, because in actuality it is not dry at all. I dread running out of it. Agree 100% that the Sublimage Eye Cream is the greatest, although PCA Restorative Eye Cream is close behind, and at a significantly lower cost.
Should've seen the looks I got when buying a few of these for myself. Not many bad ones, just a few puzzled ones. I'm assuming that they're more for people who wear make up, but I purchased L'Masque, L'Extrait & La Creme. I use them with the usual Mousse Douceur Rinse Cleanser (it works quite well for my skin) and the La Lotion Supreme. I don't wear make up exactly, but I find that the Creme is an okay base for either the long lasting concealer or Christian Dior's DiorSkin Forever Perfect Cushion just to cover acne and bring a little glow. I love the L'Extrait so so much. The line is absolutely perfect! leaves me feeling so revitalised.
Here it is at the end of 2023 and I only discovered Sublimage 6 months ago . I love it but it is getting sooooooo expensive. I can’t afford all of it. I’m hooked on the eye cream and since my last jar it increased by $30! Yikes. I bought it but not sure I can when they increase the price again. But the under eye concealer is a must.
I've always used eye creme but it's time for something new, so I'm going to get a sample at my Chanel counter. I really can't complain about wrinkles because at 58 the lines JUST started showing under my eyes, but I'm going nuts trying everything! Thank you for the excellent review. ~Susanne
Yes! Definitely pick up a sample :) I think you'll love it... It's the only thing I've used where I can tell a noticeable difference. Good for you on that great skin, you definitely don't look 58! You're very lucky!
I just recently heard about this line (well, I heard about the Sublimage Le Teint and then ended up going down the rabbit hole in my research that led me to the skincare, lol), but as yet I haven't been able to find any counters in my area where I can even smell/feel the product, much less get a sample to try before I buy. :-/ I wish Chanel had some sort of sample purchase program on their website or something. I will say, you did an *excellent* job describing each product, its benefits and who should use it. Thank you! That was extremely helpful and I may go ahead and buy one or two of the products anyway because of how useful your video was. Thank you for taking the time to post this. :-)
Yeah, that's the frustrating thing about not having a counter to try the products... what type of skin would you say you have? Maybe I can make some recommendations?
Erin Nicole Oh, that would be very helpful! Thank you! I have extremely dry skin that is sometimes (but not always) sensitive. I'm in my 30's, so not quite "mature" skin, yet (but definitely needs some forward thinking regarding any aging issues, etc...). The Lord has blessed me with generally good skin and while I don't think the numerous products I've tried have been perfect, I've been able to at least keep my skin from being damaged so far.
Pardon the delay, if you are extremely dry you may just want to try the Hydra Beauty line first... I am truly obsessed with the Sublimage eye cream, but in terms of moisturizer you may really enjoy the hydra beauty creme riche moisturizer or and maybe the Sublimage mask for those times when you feel really dry. If you call the Chanel counter at Nordstrom, we can send you complimentary samples :) The number is 615-850-6700!
Oh, no worries on the response time. Thank you so much for your suggestions! I will definitely be giving you a call! Thanks so much! I really appreciate it and I look forward to seeing if Channel has the answer to my skincare needs. :-)
Love the video! I have been eyeing the eye cream. I received a sample with a purchase at my local mall. I really loved it and wanted to read some reviews before purchasing the full size. Your video was the best yet. 💋
I love the sublimage moisturizer. How do you apply just a pencil eraser amount to cover the entire face? I don't understand how that size could cover the whole face. I'd love to see how its done. It would certainly last a lot longer if I can figure out how to do it correctly. Thank you!
Hi Erin so glad I came across this Video I was at my chanel counter today picked up the foam cleanser and the new toner that is now an exfoliator and the eye makeup remover I'm a little confused with the rest of the lime. Example there are 2 serums a gold one for the night and one for the day. So I need both plus the cewme? Def buying the eye cream
I think you actually did the best explaining all the lotions & potions from this line (and the others) that I have seen on youtube. I wish you would do an updated one including some of the new releases (La Brume, Le Teint & L'Extrait de Creme). I cannot wait to get started on my Sublimage routine!
Woooww thank you so much for reviewing this sublimage line, i might try the creme and eyecream. My eyes starts wrinkling 😂 i need them, been trying many lines they are not much of a help. Hope this line will help my wrinkling eyes 🥰🌸thank you Erin
Thanks for explaining these! I just received some samples and was not sure how to use them. Btw, are you wearing Chanel makeup in your videos? If so, it would be helpful if you listed the products in the description box below. Thanks!
Thank you Lisa! I started listing in products in my recent videos, I will have to go back to my old videos and list products too... Thanks for watching! xx
Thanks for the video. I was looking for info about the range. A question... can I still use Vit C (am) and retinol (pm) serums underneath the moisturiser?
Thank you! Are you referring to the oil cleanser? You don't need to wash afterwards. I will say that if you wear a full face of makeup you may want to remove it first before you use the oil cleanser. xx
I tried a sample of this range and it was AMAZING, like nothing else I've ever tried before. My question is, if I start using the Sublimage range in my late 20s, what will I be using when I'm in my 50s or 60s? 😁
Skincare is always improving with new research and technology so who knows, in 30 years maybe wrinkles will be a thing of the past :) lol Prevention is key, so do what you can now to take care of your skin and I'd say assess the situation as you age. xx
@@ErinNicoleTV Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I think I'll stick to my Hydra Beauty ritual for now but if I ever feel it falls short, I will give Le Lift and Sublimage a go. Although for my eye cream I'm really thinking about replacing my current Blue Serum Eye Serum with the Sublimage eye cream. :)
It’s worth starting in your 20’s I did late 20’s and I am almost forty and my skin looks amazing i look like I am still in my 20’s i use sublimage everything
I just bought recently the Sublimage toner .. it would be really helpful please help me to know is it good for skin and is it alcohol free and even it is not alcohol free is it good for skin to use ? thank u so much
It's definitely pricey, an investment in your skin for sure... I always recommend trying a sample first to make sure you truly love the texture, feel, smell etc. You really have to love everything about it if you're going to drop that kind of money!
