Watching DBZ back then, having no idea where the story was going, not knowing what a Super Saiyan looked like, seeing Vegeta fight with the Z fighters out of necessity after he was the big bad in the previous saga, and ya sure Piccolo did it first, but still… Vegeta was just different. The beauty of art is that it is subjective and I am happy those found life lessons from Vegeta but the point of Dragonball's relationship between Goku and Vegeta is that you will meet many Vegetas in life and very few Gokus. You should aspire to be like Goku and test your limits and not feel you have limits. Goku came from humble beginnings and Vegeta thought that solely based on his class and family linage that he was meant to be better than all of the saiyans but that's not how real life work rather you are white, black, asian or latino you can't think you will be automatically better than anyone else based on your race, social status or class. Goku never had this mentality which is why he was more successful than Vegeta throughout the series. I have always been good at things because I worked hard and I can't tell you how many jealous Vegetas I've faced in my life and will face in the future. The truth is if you want to be great you are going to have vegetas around you this is why I aspire to be great like Goku as I will only chase my potential and grow and not be envious of others and or compare myself to others like Vegeta. Oh and Also I am tall and not short and we know some short people have napoleon complex hence why Akira probably made Vegeta short haha.

They said at physical therapy that the impact caused the damage. But I'm good now Funny enough I was messing around with a sledgehammer and decided to hit my back and see how strong it was getting and whatever was locked up loosened up. Im sort of a masochist.
I will never regret having vegeta as my favorite character in all of anime, he's the embodiment of never give up. Yea he loses more than he wins but in the end he is currently one of the strongest in the mulitverse, not because he's number one but because he never quits. I know he's fictional but I always was fascinated by him growing up, I also struggle with ego but always put it aside to avoid making others feel threatened or in danger so I always put myself down. But I was severely unhappy, I never knew it until recently that I lived to make other feel comfortable but never to better myself to lead others. Vegeta has always been one of my favorite DB characters. Along with Future Trunks, and now Super Broly. Always thought he was cooler, more badass than Goku, and achieved things on his own.
