Thanks cornell for inspiring me to become a ornithologist and i will do anything to study and protect birds after i got collage and if you wanna know my age im ten.
My husband and I were driving back to Ontario from Maryland a few years ago and made a point of stopping by the Ornithology Lab at Cornell. It was September, and we toured the exhibits at the Lab and walked around the pond, checking out the various feeder areas. Well worth the visit. One of my personal missions is to educate my friends with Cats ( which I also like) that they should be indoors or at the very least, wear a bell as they contribute to the decimation of bird populations.

The one dislike was from the private property owner who kicked a birder off their land for chasing down a Ruddy Ground-Dove at their bird feeder in Western North Carolina.

Would love to find an active live cam on a Burrowing Owl community. Seem to have all been taken down.
There was a wonderful video on the Burrowing Owl community shown, I think from Cornell, about a year or so ago. Maybe they took it down? I'm sure someone from Cornell Ornithology could tell you if you emailed. I'd love to see it again, it's one of the best!

Why did you interrupt a video of chicks hatching, and replace it with video of a photographer ? That was very disappointing. I realize that you can't cover everything in a short video, but you could have cut out the photographers, and allowed viewers to see the babies hatch, or not shown it at all.
There is no way this creatures are product of evolution
Why? Nature is beautiful and through evolution nature has produced many beautiful creatures, plants, fungi, etc. So how can birds not possibly be a product of evolution?
Please replace the word "nature" by The creator of the universe.
For your own sake find out the truth about God,, it would be your intellect to focus, and ask,, ,, is it possible that everything was created for No Porpouse!!!???????
Well, im pretty sure something like god isnt possible.
And im also sure, that there are enough scientist which are researching in this area.
Science is the only thing that can eventually tell us if a god exists or not. But at the moment we can only trust science.
Every living breathing creature on this planet makes their own purpose. How they’re going to spend their time. What they wanna do for them self or others. In this case, the Cornell Lab members find that their purpose is to study birds. This ultimately leads to a better understanding to their lives, and maybe even how to help protect it. Make sure it thrives. I’m sure that God would approve of this kind of commitment, as one of the main things that the Bible reaches us is to love and respect our neighbor’s, our animals, our planet.
