Hi Cammie, I just wanted to come over and say hello! I know we don't know each other personally but I watch your videos all the time, even if I just recently found your channel in the past month 😉 My husband and I have this thing we are doing on our channel. We are super small so it probably doesn't do much but it was one way we could think of to thank our favorite vloggers for informing and entertaining us! I enjoy your videos so much, that I wanted to include you in my last video we posted about toddler toys we got for our son! Just look who's on the end screen for that video! I hope your Thanksgiving Day is Blessed and Happy Holidays!
Yes! I think that our kids who don't have an ASD diagnosis actually tend to be the ones who like the official "sensory" toys more, whereas Tess and Maggie tend to turn everything into sensory toys!
Once I became really enamoured with a crocheted I-cord. Definitely a non expensive sensory toy! I tend to buy and own sensory toys and then just end up fiddling with, say, paperclips... :p I love things I can chew on, and things I can wave around. I also love weighted blankets and own three, two at home and one at work! I also have a squeaze vest which I love but dislike wearing in public because it makes a crinkly sound if I move or am touched. And two of my favourite "sensory toys" are my cats!! ;)
It seems like the best sensory toys and fidgets always end up being the things that aren't intended as sensory toys/fidgets! That's definitely how it is with a lot of Maggie's favorite items too.
Yes! I didn't realize that I hadn't mentioned it until the video was all over and I'd edited it. I don't know how I left it out. It is a toy that I believe Tessie saw in Target or Meijer that she grabbed off the shelf that she fell in love with. It's so rare that she shows interest in toys so I bought it for her. The various knobs move and it makes little sounds (whether crinkling or rattling).
I RElALY REALY REALYYYYY Love magnetic balls I’ve had then for 6 month and I play with them all the time ( even while writing this comment ) and I have them in my bed just in case i would 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000% Recommend them
You have a great channel. I like watching your reviews on sensory toys as I am always looking for ideas on crocheting fidget/twiddle toys.
I always loved the silk stuff at the end of a blanket.
Makes it so
Much easier to fall asleep.
I know exactly what you're talking about. Blankets with the silky trim are so nice!

Isn't it funny how your other kids love the sensory toys too! My oldest is constantly jealous of all the cool toys his brother gets and steals them.
