    Man this video helped me out so much. My son is on the spectrum and is also non-verbal. Every holiday season I have such a hard time finding new and interesting toys and gifts for him. Your amazon lists are pure gold, ty so much.

    This helps me a lot. My nephew is autistic and I needed some birthday gift ideas. The idea of something visually calming is particularly interesting to me.
    Your family is beautiful. Thanks.

    That sensory compression sheet is amazing! My daughter has one and it helped her to stay sleeping in her bedroom.

    I’m an adult on the autism spectrum, I also have complex trauma. Sensory stuff are real big for me. I love my swing, my weighted blanket, my sensory bodysock, my sensory canoe, fidgets, and a few other things. I’d recommend a therapy ball if you can’t find any trampolines indoors for his size. You can just get a regular yoga ball, or a peanut ball.

    You know you have a sensory kiddo when you practically have all of these items already 😅 but there are a few you mention that we don’t have so that’s great!! Thank you :)))

      😂 that’s hilarious! To be honest it gets hard to think about what to buy him because he’s so into sensory stuff that he does have most of the sensory things he likes already. It’s more of a restock on his things as they get worn down 😂

    I got my son the melissa and doug funhouse mirror its like a tabletop size but from my understanding you can adjust the warping on it. My son is always visual stimming with anything metal/shiny so I think hes going to really like it

    Can you please update us about the CBD oil. Please it’s important to us.

      Not sure if you have seen the latest update but I will also be posting a video on how things are progressing very soon. So far I like it for my son. I don’t see huge changes but I do think it does regulate his body’s need to move and calms him a bit.

    Just found you , thank you for all the ideas ! My baby is autistic and he seems to bite and pinch so much do you know anything that will help ?

    • @ROCKNSTIMS
      @ROCKNSTIMS  Рік тому

      Hi! It all depends on why you think he is biting and pinching. To gain attention? Does something bother him, is it when denied access to something or having to wait or sensory? For Christian it’s mostly sensory and sometimes frustration (when waiting or told no) a chewy has been super helpful and when it’s sensory I’ve been told a z vibe would help(vibrates and helps with the sensory seeking)

      @@ROCKNSTIMS yes I recently just bought him a vibrated teething tool , honestly we can be sitting together eating and he will just start pinching me alot. his brother gets near him and he will bite him or pinch . He does start when I say no or I do believe he sometimes seeks the attention as well . I just don’t know what to do to help . Thank you so much for the reply I really do appreciate it !

    • @ROCKNSTIMS
      @ROCKNSTIMS  Рік тому

      I wish I could help more but it really is so different for every child 😞. I think what most say is that if it is attention seeking to avoid giving as much attention (safely) and focus on really catching the good moments (ex: good job sitting calming, I like how your playing with your brother).
      When biting happens and you think it may be because brother is near you can try to be as proactive as possible and block when able, maybe model good communication instead? “I need space “ or redirect to a chewy.
      Do you have therapy support like Occupational therapy or ABA?

      @@ROCKNSTIMS I have tried but they are all booked so I’m not really sure what else I can do or get support .

    • @ROCKNSTIMS

      I’m sorry to hear that . It’s like that over here as well 😔. Look into local support groups. Often they provide parent support meetings that are helpful!
