To answer your question: No. There have been other artists that appeared on TFT and they made a few mistakes here and there but TFT still released that video for all of their more than 9M subscribers and the whole world to see. Also, as a Japanese channel, they will not compromise their vision just to give way to any requests of a do over. They really just have one take and that’s it.
Yes, the original was really nice, but this arrangement, especially the entrance, was something that made it distinct, and the harmony still superb
I think the first version is like a promise to their parents, while this version is a confirmation of their promise.

Speaking of the instrumentals: the original (ie studio) version was done by Simon Servida (a Fil-Canadian), while this TFT version was , most likely, done by Radkidz (Pablo and Josue). Simon did most of the beats for SB19's first EP - Pagsibol, back when Radkidz were still finding their music production footings. Simon has vlogs on the making of the music production and shows his interactions with Pablo. These show how detailed Pablo's vision is for SB's music and how hands-on he is.

I think it is possible that no one yet have messed up coz aside from the fact that they only invite vocal powerhouses, I believe the artists do practice before doing the ONE TAKE challenge.
This is one of the songs of SB19 that I hold dearly to my heart. Now it already surpassed more than 100 million views on YT! I am beyond proud! What an achievement for SB19 and whole PPOP Industry!🫶 I hope that more songs and groups from PPOP get the recognition they deserve! To mention a few, SB19, G22, BINI, and ALAMAT are all very good PPOP groups that are working hard to promote PPOP and OPM to the world. I also love the song Musika of G22, Karera of BINI, Maharani of Alamat. All these are songs my current situation in life relate to!🫶 I hope more people from in and out of the Philippines appreciates the songs and talents of these young and talented artists. My OG idols from PH are Sarah G and Bamboo whom I consider part of the many pillars that carries and support the whole PH music industry for a long time already. I really believe Filipino talent don't just deserve millions but rather billions of viewers from around the globe. I also hope that more young talents aspire and work hard to be just like if not more than these artists.
The thing I like about this reaction is how well you explained everything from the intro since I (or most of us) dont have any idea how songs are recorded and released. This just makes how true The First Take is on their channel and how AWESOME this group are without those edits typical recording studios do

This is one hell of a performance by SB19! This new arrangement of Mapa gave me goosebumps 'cause this showcase their beautiful raw vocals. Top tier singers indeed! PPOP Kings indeed. They once again proved why they are called live monsters. A fitting tribute to their parents and to all the people who unconditionally support them. Perfect pitch! They don't do retakes when artist make mistakes. Actually, one of my most favorite videos in First Take is when Kana-Boon sang Naimononedari and both singers forgot/messed up the lyrics of the song. It was uploaded as it is and it's actually more fun to watch it like that.

Stell's belting is of course top notch. Ken's low notes is still that impressive. Josh's vocals has improved as well, I was actually nervous when he was about to climb up, that was insane. Justin's intro was incredible, first note is very much important to catch audience's attention and he did great! Lastly, Pablo, who stood out for me. His voice is is clearer this time especially on the bridge part. They all did a great job here! 10/10.

This is Japanese UA-cam Channel, they are true to their promise, because Pablo in his live, he also got trust issue about this and he try to ask if they can do a practice or get another take but they say NO. You can also search the video “ The First Take Mistakes” compilation of video of mistakes. Straykids got a video that one of the member miss out a lyrics and a JPOP Idol group mistakes an intro, an japanese singer got a technical issue In the middle of the performance. Majority of the Japanese Artists singing on the first take are so serious and just focus on singing not even looking at the camera.
