Discovered these little gems tonight watching Jools ( bbc has occasinal merits, that and nature :) -on some other little gems that grow this time of year. Fell in love instantly- Water fountain. Insatnt fan for life :)
Wow. I cant believe i have missed these musicians and have just discovered them by tracking down the music from the TV series "After the Party" (Jamaican from 2009) which has just shown here (UK) Nov 24.
on the surface, this should be the kind of artsy, pretentious, hipster, self involved nonsense that a sensible person should avoid, but funny thing is this show is fantastic from beginning to end! Makes a good point that art is all about quality. Its not like one scene or genre or culture is bad and others are good, there are real artists and there are hacks posers and fakes. These guys are obviously "the real thing".
