Great session thanks. I got the Microfreak this summer, you’re right it’s a fun synth. I just got the Ableton Move and love it. I tried portable units like OP-1, Elektron Samples, and Polyend…. Sold them all too much menu diving. The Move is great.
promise and delivery (deliverance). the dancer must have forgotten the beat before the drop. that makes it possible to start from zero, without annoying the dancer (Dj experience here^^)
@@lotustunesacademy case1: you have a break with super heavy tension, but the drop is fairly sparse, the dancer is disappointed, since he expected more, it's a step down, not up. case2: the drop is full of rhythm, but the drop doesn't add more ass-kicking, the dancer is also disappointed. solution: make the dancer to forget the beat, so it is fun when the drop brings the beat back. the drop should in any case bring something more to the table, than there was some seconds ago. makes sense?
So cool organic texture and ambience pad
Once again; thank you so much!! Great session!
Love the dubby elements man! Once you got the track out a full breakdownvideo would be cool Edit: I guess I have a look into your patreon
Mega track man, thanks for sharing and inspiring once again
this was a really useful exercise for me to consider arrangement in a way i haven't before + the track itself is great!
Thank you very much! Glad this video helped you.

I like this a lot, much better than the double trilogy break! I have so many spacey tracks that could use this! Thank you!

Cheers for the comment Pixelcomet. I'm not sure I understand what you mean though. Do you mind explaining?

Arrangement is my main problem from the beginning, I can't get out of my 8 bar loop it's tilting ! Thanks for your video !
I know the feeling. You should check out my livestreams. I often transition from loops to full tracks there
so a 64 bar breakdown..... djs and dancers have ADD
I see someone else likes to keep synths in their natural colour….but dude - white drums? 😬 feels wrong
Haha got a little bored of using yellow for years
Who the f*** cares
