    You need to get the beard a little longer for the full Claude Monet as potter effect.

    These remind me of those punk potters I saw in a video years ago, throwing slip and grit at a moon vase. But they were actually standing back and flinging it!

    By looking at how you pressed down that large ball of clay during the centering process, it seems that you use pretty soft clay, softer (wetter) than clay just off the bag. If I am correct, can you tell me how soft (wet) the clay you use in these videos is?

      its the consistency of clay straight from the bag Although this is reclaimed
