And if people talk to you about some name you don't know about seem like you don't see who it is like you forgot and you're like aww yeah I see that's like the brother or...they'll correct you to link him to some of the big names of the show just nod your head like you totally understood who "the lesbian sister of the dude you know who was tortured" is. There's so many characters you won't look weird if you forget some. It's a fullproof method.
The Smurfs are my favorite anime. The writing, the characters, the visuals... Papa Smurf is my favorite character. He is old and wise. He lead his village through dark times. Not even two civil wars have changed this wizard. All tho his character was better in the manga because we were able to feel the pain of his loss (I'm referencing "THE SMURFS: THE BATTLE FOR THE APPLE PART 2"). Yes, there is only one female character, but she is the only one we need; she is strong, independent and most importantly she has big anime tiddies. The villian was also a great character. A middle aged man, who is probably a pedophile and who lives with a black cat. What else could you ask for? Truly a masterpiece of an anime.

I lived in a small football town where everyone went to the HS games because there was nothing else to do on Friday night. The whole town was flooded with the school colors. However, the people who really enjoy football talked about it but no one else cared until Friday and no one cared once the season was over, not even the players.
