Wow. Giving permission to speak L1 in class time. I've worked in schools where students are made to sit outside for not speaking English. Hardly motivating and encouraging for the learners. Great stuff :D
I really find these tips useful. I do not like to get students to pay a fee or bring candies like it is the trend where I work. I believe it is wrong, I mean it is not meaningful but rather bragging the teacher.

Good idea. Accuracy should not be the objective in the beginning. Get them to talk more and more. Fluency improves gradually. Nice video.

Well, I think it matters.
My advice: Run your classes in English all the time and your students will join you. No mother tongue will be an issue any longer.
