The "Creative Labs Sound Blaster with the Live Drive Front Panel CT4860 My 1st "Interface". This and Free Cubase was my entry into Audio Engineering. 25 years later and Im still going strong With My Own Private Recording Studio, only now I have Protools Carbon
Our AST 386sx got a SoundBlaster 16 cd rom upgrade kit. I wish I still the little set of speaker's from the kit. Sadly the same year the kit in this video came out a power surge from a damaged powerline killed out 386sx
Good old CT4500. I picked one up at the electronics fair in January 2019 for just 5 euros! Worked great ever since. It went into my Pentium 133 system to replace a Yamaha YMF724 PCI which was conflicting hard with the Matrox video card. Like, I had to reconfigure the resolution or reinstall drivers every single boot. No such problems with the Soundblaster.
0:02 Wow! There's a new logo in the corner! It feels like your videos are starting to get more production value! Also, it's very cool you're starting to get into more Mac stuff.
Hello. just one remark about your latest videos: Here on UA-cam we get some ads very very often (and on your channel especially). For most of them, these ads can't be skipped and we have to wait 20+ seconds; and they come by pair. So basically that's 40 seconds about every 5 minutes. The topic of the video has really to be super-interesting to bear such an amount of unbearable UA-cam ads... :/
@@ThatOneWindowsFan I don't think so, I'm following this channel for the last 12 years now ! I just find that there are now way too many YT ads and that you can't skip them after 5 seconds. I think I'm not the only one impacted and could impact most of the new viewers... I fully understand the need of additional revenues, but this may be counter-productive.
Try uBlock Origin. It's a really great ad blocker that even works with UA-cam. I agree that the ads on UA-cam (and everywhere else on the internet) are getting out of control now.
I remember those. 😊

Glad this is Multimedia Experience.

I have this card on my Compaq Prolinea too. It sounds amazing.
I have 2 of the very first Apple Macintosh computers from 1984. They both are in working condition and 40 years old now.
I had this exact kit. Nice find. For the Mac SE, you could ask Mac84 to see if he can help

Cool video, thanks! Would you mind telling me what kind of headphones those are? They're awesome! ❤
I bought the one with the SB16 and it came with 7th Guest and Encarta :).
I miss those big Creative bundles. Too bad it didn't have the infra cd-rom drive included.

Omg. I wasn't paying attention when I saw this in my feed and thought it was an LGR video. I hate play and was like, that's not Clint.

OK, well you're just ungrateful.

@@olivierpericat9224I agree. Too many ads freeze the whole app. We need to complain to YT about this.
