What is restitution?

This video introduces restitution, where it would be unfair for a defendant to retain something of value that should be given to the plaintiff. Restitution is typically a remedy or a claim in the absence of a contractual obligation.

I got two expensive shoes robbed at gun point from me .. if they dont find my shoes do the robbers pay me for what they stole

Hope you get your property or money back. On January third I was robbed of my car at knife point by a couple of high school punks. One guy was caught and just had his juvenile court hearing earlier. He was ordered to pay restitution for the $562 worth of property taken from my vehicle.

I can still persue a legal case and involved the person who committed the crime, his parents and the school. Im trying not to go to the media.
