So True, I'm glad they put them all in one Cabinet for this Deluxe X-Men 97 edition and the Original MvC2 Cabinet. I wont feel the need to upgrade if hey ever go to MvC3 Cabinet because thats when i stopped liking the Vs games. MvC2 was the peek for Vs games for me.
Oh boy, that is facts on facts on facts. Still have my day Dreamcast. I need to boot it up and check that it still works. Been a few years. Still got my Dreamcast my memory unit with stored data on it too lol.
lol, Naw i say keep the original. Fight the FOMO lol. The original MvC2 light up Marquee I think is way better, but the side art on the Xmen 97 edition is very nice. I wish this new cabinet included the original Xmen Arcade game within its game line up. Then that would be worth upgrading and make it perfect. I think there's likely a way to mod that game in but I don't know anything about moding these cabinets as yet as this is my first cabinet.
Yeah that would be perfect. Theres a street fight 2 cabinet called "Big Blue" that includes either two or three dark stalkers games with street fight 2 championship edition through super street fighter 2 turbo and I'm almost considering getting it just for dark stalkers. I loved that game back in the day. Yeah my daughter lovers watching tv and movies on the projector. I have a Nintendo switch connected to it as well so playing Nintendo switch sports is some good family fun. When she wants I connect a xbox series a there as well so she can play minecraft and forza horizon with a racing wheel and peddles. I'm looking into a ridge racer cabinet as well because I saw it had some good force feedback. My xbox racing wheel is a thrust master without force feedback but still fun.
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it was fun making it. Me? Rich? No way. Ask my coworkers I been making my own lunch instead ordering lunch my entire work life, biggest penny pincher.
Capcom needs to release all the capcom 2d fighters from 1990 to 2000 with a virtual arcade like street fighter 6 that you can run around in with your avatar.along with cross play. I'd pay for that for sure.
Yeah it's kinda odd. Maybe anyone who normally buys these already bought the original version and felt no need to double dip. I wouldn't if inhad the original mvc2 cabinet
I want this exact cabinet but will probably swap out the marquee. The other Arcade1up cabinet I want is the same one you mentioned, the big blue Street Fighter one that has all three Darkstalkers games. I want to get that one and put the Darkstalkers arcade vinyls and marquee on it. If you're interested I can give you a link for the vinyls/marquee for that unit if you decide to get it. I think it's about $160 for the kit but it looks really nice. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching. Yes I'd love top relive those Dark stalkers days, I still remember the first time I saw it in an arcade attached to a GO cart place. I so excited to go back over and over just to play it and not the go carts lol. Yes please share the link to the vinyls/marquee I really appreciate it. Good looking out
Thanks man. Yeah the later generations of arcade1up fighting game cabinets in the past 2 years or so have been added with online connection to play other people. It's why some people may upgraded and purchase another version of a cabinet they release with similar games because the new version has online play.
Naw you good. I did watch a ton of you tube videos for tips and tricks before hand so I was super ready.. like "Put me in coach". If hadn't would have taken me way longer plus I had my lil helper my 7 year old daughter handing me screws screws and parts so I didnt have to get up too much 😅. At that age they still want to help you with everything.
@@maestro_rrhonestly I havent yet. Just been playing local with my kids trying to get anywhere close tonas good as i am with a controller before i go online. But I have heard that there are difficulties with the online finding matches.
I really considered getting that cab but wound up settling on the Neo Geo MVSX bartop instead due to space constraints in my game room. But man I would love to pick that up at one point if I can make space for it (and if I can find an importer that carries it in the EU). Enjoy your awesome gift!
Hey man, I have three questions about the cabinet of this game. 1) Will this cabinet by chance have the X-Men Training Room stage for those who want to practice their skills in this game? 2) Will this Cabinet have available alternative stages of the same stages that were in the console versions of this game, such as Ruby Heart's ship but at night? 3) In this cabinet you can deactivate the time of 99, 60 and 30 seconds to literally not have a time to finish the fight and so that you can be there as long as you want, for hours so to speak?
I'd to go check and confirm but from what I can tell this behaves like you were in the arcade. Theres no training room like a console version of fighting games. From what I've seen theres just hit player 1 or player 2 button and pick your characters. If you win against a second player next to you you have to keep your same characters if they challenge you again and interrupt you from playing the PC. So basically it plays as if you were in the arcade not on the converted home consoles version we've been used to playing. I'll play around with it some more and look to confirm if there are some setting to change things up like disabling or changing time limit and let you know.
First, thank you for sharing. A lot of folks will really benefit from seeing it before they make a big purchase. Second, the fire alarm low battery, Why!!!!!!
They definitely made it as easy as possible to set up. Just takes at least an hour because of all the parts but an easy easy setup. Definitely use a screwdriver DO NOT use a drill even on low setting. Every screw screws in nice and easy and firmly when fully screwed it.
*Cool Cabinet bro...I use to play the shit out of MVC2 on Dreamcast & PS2 played a few times on arcades back when it first released...I currently have it downloaded on my Ayn Odin Lite & my Retroid Pocket 2S...Been looking for a Marvel Vs Capcom Countercade but they always ending up selling it out hopefully i get it soon lol* 😅😅😅
My best team in MVC2 back in the day was Cable, Iron Man/War Machine, Tron Bonne and sometimes Wolverine. Still have my physical copy of MVC2 on Playstation 2.
Nice i hear those old copies on PS2 and Dreamcast go for a good amount nowadays.. I liked Cyclops, Guile and Sentinel. That Wolverine and Cable are beast though. Definity lost my fair share to them.
Yes in deed with cross play on every platform. Capcom's put out some decent fighting game collections here and there but I want something that covers every 2d fighter they have made from 1990 to 2000. That was be stellar with fight hubs like they have in street fighter 6 so you can have your own avatar in a virtual arcade running around
@@Princetreppe yea cross play would be dope... imagine playing this on ps 5 I wouldn't be mad if they did a remastered but keeping that 2 d feel like Snk is doing with fatal fury they know ppl want these games but they won't release same as ea with the street series

Why would you buy this arcade 1 up when the marvel Vs capcom 2 includes the same games it’s like you buying 2 of the same games just the cabinet look different that’s it
Agree with you. If I had the original Mvc2 cabinet I would not have purchased this one either. This is actually my first ever arcade cabinet so I wanted it to be something I played tons of in my youth so it would be the most nostalgic. I played all the street fighters from street fighter 2 on SNES untill current but by far this one is my favorite

Lol my bbad. I dont have the link right now. I got it as a gift. Buts it's called "invicta pirate of the sea" mines has a ship wheel on the band, but theres one with a siren and another one. I'll see if I can get a link later from my wife who purchased mines and I'll update
I get you. It's really for nostalgia plus they support their product after purchase if you need parts you can order one or get it covered under warranty. For me full size arcade machines would be too large and too heavy to move around especially if you have an entire room of them like five or more so it's fine for me. Plus I'm not an arcade purist so I dont need it to be exactly 1 for 1 size wise with perfect buttons and sticks. Shes is slightly more for the casual that just likes something close enough without spending over $1k
Shout out to the wife for such a great gift! 🎉
Absolutely 😊
If you're here for the unboxing, it actually starts at 10:14.
These games are the classics that introduce generations to the marvel universe.

One of the best birthday gift and my fav game
For sure, definitely a birthday gift for the history books.
I had no idea arcade 1 up was still making these cabs! I hope i can still pick this up!
I think Amazon is taking orders. just ship in like a week or so
Thats awesome. If Darkstalkers was included it'd be an auto buy for me. Your basement is envious.

I played this on Dreamcast when I was a kid and my favorite part was earning points to unlock all the characters.
Yeah i remember those days. was like a minigame within the game to unlock them all and save it to your memory unit.
Noticed quite a bit of wobble when you were playing. I have a SF2 Deluxe and found putting something heavy, like a rice bag, inside the cabinet helps
Ahhh, nice thanks for the tip
Best way to play MVC2 online is through Fightcade. One could also replace internals of a A1U to accomodate if you're feeling it.
yes sir
Can’t you link a tutorial for me. I have a MVC 1 and 2 Cabinet and I’d love to do that.
Dang you look rich! Nice house! Thanks for the video of arcade1up, I enjoyed it!

I need them to just put this on consoles and stop playin'.
For real. I definitely prefer this over MvC3 and above
They have put some of the games on the consoles. Just modern day consoles. I think they did a pack on ps2 and ps 1

Hands down, one of the most underrated fighting games of all time I remember being in the pizza shop everyday after school playing that game!
For sure. Yes it is. In my book its legendary status
It a fan of the arcade joystick it’s always jamming over time but one of my childhood favs
Now this is a birthday gift 💪🏽
I would love to get some like that for Tekken
If they release a tekken cabinet I'm all in. After tekken 2 was officially a tekken fan
