My personal canon is that the narrator is a stormtrooper captured during the battle of Endor and is being interrogated. The Empire has lost and he's old. He doesn't mind sharing the atrocities he committed, and that's why he emphasizes Hoth as his best day.

Good theory, I’ve always though it was captain Rex before learning he removed his inhibitor chip and did not take part in order 66, whereas the narrator did. Perhaps captain Rex knows the narrator, as both of them were in the 501st legion.

The one thing from the PSP version that I wish was in the main versions was this bounty hunter mode. You would play as a rogue phase 1 clone and were given missions to kill certain targets, which ranged from all the factions. Sometimes you would have to kill clone targets, stormtroopers, specific rebels, etc. It was pretty dope imo

That's plausible, also that he'd been in an advisory/training role away from the frontline for the last however many years of service but kept referring to the 501st/clones generally as 'we' or 'us' because that's all he ever knew. While I don't think it's worth overthinking the campaign's narrator just because he was really a storytelling tool, it's interesting to think about.

On Yavin 4 you can get to the top of the pyramid with jet trooper. You can also get on top of the parts of kamino above the clone generators and where obi wan jumps down to fight general grievous.
On the map where clones die in the space from lack of oxygen and need tanks to survive there, there will always be 2 or 3 droids hanging near the 2nd command post but not actually there just by the window.
On Kamino killing the clone generator things will reduce the clone's count faster regardless of which team did it.
Once the units get to 16 if you do not die you'll be the last unit alive. If you die then the AI will ruin it for you. I used to set the unit counters to 750 and wait for mine to deplete to 1 and solo everyone on the hardest difficulty.
If you get units to follow you and turn fast enough you'll see a lower graphical rendering of the units which looks funny and out of place.
There are on the ps2 version of battlefront 2, command codes you can put into the controller to get some very funny effects. Some include god mode but one of my favourites was the black droideka which flashes multicoloured or remains black depending on your terrain. I still have these commands written down on a piece of paper into the CD case there are at least 12 if I remember rightly.
If you keep taking off and lowering ur spaceship in a space battle it will eventually leave the hanger and continue to go down for eternity.
In some maps, because of balancing issues snipers will regularly just camp at one of the safer command posts and not fight for most of the game. In other maps units will camp at certain places where combat is very unlikely in order to make the match more fair if that side has an advantage.
Going straight for the command post that the enemy starts with will make both teams AI spawn on opposite sides most of the time.
Destroying the jedi books/green area on coruscant will change how units spawn for the rest of the game and which turrets they will camp and which command posts they will go for.
On hoth hunter matches you can as the rebels actually kill the yetis and get to the rebel hanger where they spawn. You can keep going and use the rest of the hoth map which is pretty much intact. The shield generator has a turret and you can spam attack their spawn but they will only come to you if you get close enough. If you get close to them you can lure them away from their spawn and other rebels will start to go to their spawn. Usually the yetis will dominate so hard that nobody gets there.
In space battles you can actually repair your shield generator but it takes such a long time.
Sometimes engineers will prioritise going into vehicles instead of spam repairing them they will use them until they are low health then hop out and repair them but usually they get killed before they can repair to 100% and go back inside. This ends up leaving a vacant vehicle that usually gets captured by enemies. (But enemies usually only go in faction controlled or neutral vehicles but not vehicles designated for the other faction even though it could be beneficial).
On Yavin 4 there is usually a bunch of clone snipers near their original outpost near the cliff/waterfall. They will not react to the command post being taken over and will sit there all game. When you play as empire and rebels these snipers are not there in any form (likely because CIS is very overpowered against clones).
Heavy troopers will usually just use their laser pistol and rarely use their rocket launcher however if they see a droideka shield they will usually use the heavy launcher but they normally go right up close to the droideka causing them to kill themselves and a bunch of clones near them.
Dark troopers will randomly kill their own side by spamming lightening which stuns and damages the group if one enemy is there.
Engineers will give you health if you get low or ammunition. But do not actually do it for other AI units because their ammo is unlimited. They also shoot in units of 3 and do not spam like the player can (which gives reduced accuracy).
Sometimes enemies will roll into a fall and fall to their deaths.
Sniper class AI are more likely to take over turrets than any other unit. (despite the factor the sniper rifle is actually better for taking out enemy turret users).
Running around turrets will cause the AI to keep spinning around and never catch up to you, but sometimes they will get fed up and leave the turret and spam explosives causing you, them and the turret to explode.
Sometimes when you tell a unit to follow you they will ignore your command and 5 minutes later will randomly come and follow you from a far away location.
The best followers are not those with AOE or explosives because they don't care about walls or other members of your party (with max medals you can go from 1 follower to 4).
Destroying the shield generator on hoth affects ship spawns and makes the rebel counter deplete faster. They aren't actually shields at all though because you can't have a space and land battle at the same time. Engineers will not repair shield generators on hoth or space battles (pilots) despite being able to do so and it being beneficial to do so.
Sometimes enemies get stuck in hoth trenches for the whole game.
Sometimes enemies get stuck in cover (more prevalent in hoth tunnels where they are coded to only leave cover after an enemy appears but if both command posts are yours and no enemy appears they will remain there stuck waiting for one). Putting down a mine as a heavy trooper will trick them into thinking it is an enemy if placed in the spot they expect them to come. They may sometimes think it is also a command post if the enemy has captured one nearby and try to stand on it, consequently blowing themselves up.
On death star there is a secret passageway but units will only use it if the bridge's control panel is destroyed. Engineers will sometimes repair the control panels but it is annoying if you want it closed off on purpose. There is also a control panel near the wall crushing room with the broken vent but it seems to do nothing (maybe a door that used to lock unless repaired in time that never got into the final game).
On Jabba's palace AI will randomly fall down the trap door but the monster sometimes will not eat them and they will be out of range and remain stuck there all game. But if a guard finds them they will be killed.
Jet troopers and dark troopers can actually use their height advantage in a lot of places in a lot of maps to camp and snipe enemies from relative safety but most of them use it only when they need to go somewhere long distance. This sometimes causes them to run out of fuel and fall in places they can't escape from due to bugs or fall to their death.
Sometimes when a hero/villain spawns they will use quotes from another hero/villain.
Sometimes AI will look at each other for a long time before realising they are on the same team and then walk into each other and awkwardly run to cover like nothing happened.
Sometimes AI destroy the healing and ammo bots on purpose. Sometimes engineers get stuck in a cycle of destroying and repairing them non stop.
In essence, the AI of this game is just hilarious. It's so random and bad and funny that every game is just unique and different depending on so many variables. Hope you enjoyed these little experiences of my time playing as a kid.

If you make a part 3, include the fun fact that in Hoth Hunt, if you play as rebel engineer and go through/over the interior and get to the destroyed shield generator, it's possible to repair it and create a separate spawnpoint so the wampas could be attacked from two sides. Not something a lot of people who played that map know about.

Just a couple I thought of:
    1. Using the technique to get out of the capital ship, if you do it on Space Mygeeto as the republic, you can jump down onto an Acclamator
    2. One of the major differences between ports of the game is that on the PS2 version, the AI will not become heroes in the conquest gamemode
    3. On Hoth, the AI will not go through the tunnel from command post 3 to command post 4 unless the shield generator is destroyed
    4. Map bias. On most maps, there's a bias towards specific teams due to command post placement (Polis Massa) or local wildlife (Kashyyyk, Endor, etc) not counting towards the reinforcement count
    5. Clutch mechanic. There's a mechanic that causes the AI to get slightly better the more their team is losing
    6. Sniping/Landmine spots. There are specific locations where the AI will snipe and place landmines.
    7. Hero AI prefers ranged attacks. Not really a secret but the hero AI will prioritize ranged attacks such as saber throw or force lightning which will oftentimes leave them exposed
    8. Mace Windu's attack cycle is trash. Again, not a secret but mace windu's attack combo is really bad and misses a lot
    9. In the campaign, the cutscene of anakin and obi-wan walking together is said to be them on the capitol ship, but it's actually mustafar
    10. At the time, they didn't have a canon bomber for the republic or CIS so they used the v-wing and grievous's ship from episode 3
    11. "Hidden" areas. There are a lot of parts of maps where the AI won't go, but are still accessible such as the catwalk system on Utapau and secondary walls on Kashyyyk
    12. Rebel Rage. Rebels have a unique thing that will cause them to shoot dead bodies with a pistol.
    13. Knightfall Anakin. Again, not a secret but in the mission Knightfall you play as a unique skin of anakin with his hood up. I think it's also worth noting that there strangely isn't a light side anakin
    14. Squad commands. You can give orders to troopers to follow you, get in vehicles, etc. It's somewhat well known but there's nothing in the game to tell you you can do it.
    15. Destroyable panels. There are 2 control panels on the death star that remove walkways when destroyed as well as a few others on other maps

Also, repairing the shield generator is definitely a waste of time if you're alone, but completely viable if you're with other people because multiple people can repair the shield much faster than it can be destroyed. Nice video! Here are some more facts that you may or may not know off the top of my head:
In Coruscant you can still see Republic and CIS ships fighting in the sky during Operation: Knightfall and when playing in the Galactic Civil War era. Also, the minimap displays the the Jedi Council chamber as being the northern-most CP across all game modes EXCEPT, inexplicably, for Clone Wars Conquest mode where the map has been rotated 180 degrees making that the southern-most CP instead.
On Dagobah, Luke’s crashed X-Wing is replaced with a LAAT Gunship if you play in the Clone Wars era
In Felucia’s campaign mission, the section where you have to defend the damaged AT-TE from droids doesn’t require any player input to beat. Just vibe for 1-2 mins and you can then do the next task afterwards.
On Geonosis CTF, the Republic are given IFT-X tanks instead of an AT-TE. This is likely a reference to Pandemic Studios’ previous Star Wars title _Star Wars: The Clone Wars_ (no, not that one lmao)
In Mos Eisley, it’s possible to phase through the wall of the arena at CP5. On top of the platform next to the barge if you jump north-westward you should be able to clip through and be inside the wall, allowing you to shoot at enemies that can’t shoot you back due to the wall protecting you!
Also on Mos Eisley there’s a crazy bug in Hero Assault that’s only possible on console. It’s too long to describe in a UA-cam comment but if you google ‘neoseeker SWBF2 mos eisley super glitch’ there’s a complete explanation there and as wacky as it reads, it’s all true.
On Mygeeto’s campaign mission, you can get the Mygeetian crystals by going through a hole above the shield wall as a Jet Trooper or KI-Adi-Mundi, meaning you don’t need to destroy those power generators to get past the shield.
Also on Mygeeto’s campaign, there is another shield wall with destroyable power generator to the East of CP3 despite there being nothing there to do. Another fact about Mygeeto is that they switch out the AT-RT for the IFT-X in instant action for some reason.
On many maps there are destroyable / repairable drawbridges including 2 in the Death Star. But arguably the most impactful drawbridge is the one on Mustafar between CP0 and CP5. The controls are operated on CP5 and can be used to force the opposing team into a siege at CP0 if all other CPs belong to your team.
On Naboo, the map has been rotated 180 degrees compared to it’s SWBF1 counterpart. Also despite the fountains being changed from circular in SWBF1 to square in SWBF2, they are still shown as circles on the minimap.
On Tantive IV, if you play as an engineer and destroy and repair the generator at CP4, it’s a fast-fire way of getting the Reward Shotgun very quickly. Also, if you display the full map on Tantive IV, all the unit icons are pointing backwards despite the fact that the minimap display on the top-right shows that pointing forwards.
On Utapau’s campaign, if you’re fast enough, after capturing the platform it’s possible to force push Grevious off the ledge and into the bottomless pit behind him.
In Space, not only can you repair the Shield Generator, but you can do so from _behind the shield generator room door._ As long as you aim your fusion cutter vaguely in the direction of the generator, the health bar should show up, allowing you to regenerate it’s health!
If you hold the sprint button just as the stamina bar reaches the end, you can perform an infinite sprint glitch. It does take some practice but it is a strat used by speedrunnera for the game.
If you hold down the secondary fire button with a detpack then let go, it will be thrown across a larger distance.
Yoda is the only force user to be able to jump 5 times in a row - all others either jump 4 times in a row or float (Vader or Emperor)
If the character you play as has a fusion cutter (i.e. Engineer Class, Han Solo, theoretically Pilot Class) then they will not be affected by mines unless someone else on your team (that has no fusion cutter) steps on it. Fusion cutters can also be used to remove mines without the use of explosives!
When playing as an engineer class or Dark Trooper, every time you fire there’s a small recharge time indicated by some red squares on the inner reticule. If you jump or do a roll after firing, it cancels out that recharge completely allowing for some fast firing!
If it wasn’t obvious, SWBF2 2005 is my favourite game of all time lmao

In the SWBF2 video mod, the in-game models of Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Darth Maul and General Grievous are all seen playing guitars and drums to Foo Fighter’s _DOA_ with intermittent cuts to some gameplay footage.
Interestingly, this gameplay footage also uses beta footage as there are many similarities to SWBF1; including Clone Troopers having EMP grenades, Clone Engineers having an arc caster, and Jet Trooper having EMP launchers w/ EMP explosion like in SWBF1. You may recognise some of the gameplay from the Campaign and Galactic Conquest cutscenes too.
A lot of these video mods are considered lost media but luckily the SWBF2 episode can still be viewed! ua-cam.com/video/I3dF13v70yw/v-deo.html
There was also a Video Mod for the Episode III videogame! ua-cam.com/video/t40bD_0arTE/v-deo.html

Speaking of mid/late 2000s machinima, there’s also Star Wars: A Clone Apart which is a fan movie that is shot within the SWBF2 game using certain maps and characters. Sadly it got cancelled after a dozen episodes and we’ll never get the ending to the story but is still worth watching for the spectacle alone imo

Something that I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't know about this game is the squad commands: I'm not sure how to do it on PC, but on Xbox you have to look at an ally and press up on the d pad (in vehicles you don't have to look at anyone).
The number of troops you can have following you at a time depends on your profile's rank, unlike Battlefront 1. Also unlike BF1, you can't reliably choose your commands, since BF1 gives you a specific command on each direction of the d pad.

@@ciudad1696 You could also bring up in part 3 maybe "double landing" your landing craft on capital ships.
I retested it on PC and I know the game did it on PS2 as well: in space maps when you bring a landing craft like the LAAT into the opposing hangar, if you have 2 or more passengers, then one of them will stay inside the lander. That remaining AI will soon after try to fly the landing vehicle out of the capital ship but crash if you're faced anywhere but directly at the hangar door. (This "bug" could be an entry all its own tbh)
If a player doesn't know the dismount squad command then the only way to resolve this is to pick up the landing vehicle and land it again in the enemy hangar, dismounting that last AI so the vehicle wont be flown again. The game is programmed so nobody mounts the landers in the enemy hangar at least, but leaving that single AI in the vehicle results in disaster.
I'd imagine a lot of players will just use a normal ship for boarding but sometimes I like to use the boarding vessels for it and it's happened to me so many times.

So continuing to fight for the empire after hoth, would just be you doing the missions and laying wastes to hundreds of rebels, just for you to end up losing the battle in the end anyway. It would’ve been cool if the story continued to show how much the empire was struggling near the end of the war

Coming off of reading the Republic Commando series by Karen Travis, I feel like maybe the intention for the narrator's (and other clones') long lifespan could be because they were able to slow or halt the accelerated aging process. There's multiple hints throughout the book series about how some of the other Clone Masters would create clones for manual labor (mining mostly) where they would accelerate their aging, then 'switch it off' once they were at their physical peak. So a clone could be aged from 0-20 in about 5 years. Then they could live the rest of their life aging normally for the next 50-60 years. Of course there were multiple drawbacks for this type of cloning, which explains why the Kaminoans were considered the best in the business, but still allowed their soldiers to continue aging faster than normal.

Two things I thought of that I didn’t see mentioned
    1. Kit Fisto is based off of the original Star Wars: Clone wars and in the show his lightsaber is all fuzzy since he’s underwater. In the game, his lightsaber looks the same as if it is underwater. Another thing is his force orb he can throw. In the series we see him make these blue orbs in the water to throw at droids. I’m pretty sure this is where that mechanic comes from in the game since nobody else has this ability and hasn’t been seen in any other Star Wars content.
    2. In the Death Star map you can actually go into the trash compactor. In the red hallway you can shoot the door open that Princess Leia does in A New Hope. From there you can go inside and walk around. Not sure if you can die from it, but the walls do squish together.

  • @Sb129

I played the PSP and PC versions a ton back in the old days, still do from time to time.
Something you can do in all versions of SWBF2 is glitching a ship into the structure of a capital ship, land on the roof and see everything top down. Normally this just mean you can shoot all the stuff and they can't shoot you but in the PSP version, you can see on the inside of capital ships that the engines, shield generator and life support systems exist but have no floor or wall or anything, they just float there. You can still destroy them from the inside, idk why they didn't just let you do it the normal way.
There exists a modified PSP version that adds in some maps from the PS2 version of the game, it adds some normal maps and some campaign maps and they are fully playable. Geonosis is perfectly playable on a PSP, idk why it wasn't included, it is a lot of fun.
The PSP also has a special bounty hunter mode that would have been fun on other versions.
Renegade Squadron and Elite Squadron were decent titles, I think the best part about them was that they had actual multiplayer over the internet. (Infrastructure mode for PSP fans) and it was great to have something like that. I guarantee you in the OG PSP SWBF2 had internet play I would have worn that PSP out three times as fast.
You can repair the other internals in space battles, on PC version I know you can and doing that was actually what people did in multiplayer. It is just not as efficient in single player.
On the Rancor glitch, you can do the same thing with Chewbacca in Mos Eisley assault mode, jump into the sail barge at the right angle on the bow and you will start the falling animation, respawn and the corpse will forever drop powerups.

A few notes on Battlefront 4:
The story wouldn't have been just a "switched alliance" kind of deal, but rather a "butterfly effect" story in which a few changes in the original story would lead to this darker path. Appatently these inflection points could have been Obi Wan never joining the light side, Dooku never leaving the Jedi and Palpatine never becoming a Senator. All these changes would have led to a timeline in which Vader and his children rule the galaxy with very little opposition, but eventually having Leia and Anakin redeemed.
As for the gameplay, the team considered expanding the battleground maps to tell more effectively the new battles of this story, using larger portions of these alternative universe planets and continuing with the proposed BF3 "from ground to space" modality.

@Ciudad16 Isn't it kinda curious though, that there IS an Endor map in the game, that the developers might have intended to use for a final mission of sorts, though it could have been cut, most likely from the design documents for whatever reason. I do like how they at the very least, kept the map intact, it's really in my opinion, the only physical piece of evidence that supports my own theory.

The fact that Rise of The Empire ends on Hoth is interesting... Especially when you realize that Endor is a map you can play in Instant Action as well as Galactic Conquest (only in Civil War era).
They could have had the ending of the campaign be where you had to fight a "what if" scenario where the Empire actually won on Endor, retaking the shield generator and preventing the shield for the Death Star II from falling. If you lost that mission, then the game would have a normal ending, however, if you won, you could see the "secret ending" and get something cool unlocked.

here's an addition to your point at min 13:05. all kind of canisters (red - damage boost; brown - instant partial endurance refill ; blu - health; red grey and square - ammo; green - defensive buff) can be generated indefinetly:
when killing yourself in certain positions, possible on certain maps, where you are stuck in an eternal falling animation and tumbeling (some houses on mos eisley and certain slopes) will have you continusly spill out these pick-upable items for the whole match, since the game thinks you are still dying while falling, even as you in your next life resupply and buff underneath. much quicker than going to droids or have the technician give you just health and ammo. furthermore your corpse spins faster and faster as the game progresses, but I never experienced any crash or issue due to too many items landing and glitching in the same area (played ps2 port for years). thought it would be fun to know for any1
PS: do you plan on writing something about particular bugs, glitches or level walls? things like the pyramids on the death star come to mind or indefinetly choking and zapping enemies as dooku or palpatine when you rapidly keep alternating your force ability while it is used on one enemy?
I played for so long that the numbers of times i got every medal was of course legendary, but so large it blended into the written names of the medals, making them partly unreadable XD stuff you get easily like guardian was one of those medals.

Okay, I've got some. These are at various levels of iceberg. Maybe it's so off to the side, this is like.. Iced Tea.
"Destructible Debris": During space battles, did you know that you can destroy the floating space debris and asteroids?
"Friendly Fire": Unless I'm recalling incorrectly, shooting Jawas on the Mos Eisley map counts as team kills, no matter what team you're on.
"Tributary Tunnel": On the Death Star map, you can go into the focusing tunnel for the superlaser beam, but if it activates while you're in it, you'll die.
"Upper Levels": On the Naboo Theed map, there are several areas that are almost never used, upper levels overlooking most of the streets. Completely open, but the AI doesn't use it, and most players probably haven't explored it.
"Last Man Standing": Sometimes, if you're losing a battle, the AI on your team will stop respawning, leaving you as the only unit alive on your team. It's then possible to find a secure command post where you can try to finish off the enemy yourself. (I've come back from being down by like 60:1)
"Secret Droids": On the Yavin 4 level, in the Rebel base room with all the screens, if you're facing the big door to the rest of the map and you go to the back right side wall, there's an ammo gonk and a medical droid hidden behind the wall, that you can still get the effects from.
"Kill Limit": In the Instant Action mode, you can change certain settings for a game, including total team reinforcements. By increasing the amount to several hundred percent, it's possible to play a game where you get more kills than the game can count, literally. The kill counter cannot pass 255, so if you get more kills than that in a match, it will reset to 0 and start counting again.

In the event you choose to do a part 3, here's a few things I know about that you may consider doing part of the next part:
    1. Cheat codes: There's cheat codes in I believe the xbox and playstation versions that allow you do have infinite ammo, invincibility, no hud, low-poly graphic mode and a few others that can be achieved by doing actions on the pause menu.
    2. Similar to the Rancor Barf, on mos eisley, if you line up Chewbacca perfectly and blow him up on the corner of the ship within the big space port part of the map, you can glitch him into infinitely falling and spawn infinite drops.
    3. This might be basic info, but if you speed up as fast as possible as a missile from the the gunships or Chewbacca's missle, then the explosion is much larger.
I loved the videos man! Very insightful.

There's also the infinite choke glitch and the lightning choke glitch by switching from choke to your other secondary option while holding down choke.

Another glitch similar to the rancor glitch happens on the mos Eisley Heroes versus Villains map. In the northwest corner of the map, behind one of the villains Command Post, along the west wall you see a gate and some support columns in the wall. There are two spaces in these columns to the left of that gate where you can fit your character in them. For I think the rightmost one, if you wedge your character in there they will start to do the falling animation. They will eventually die from falling for too long. If you get them to stay in that column then they will continuously drop health, ammo, and all the other drops you get from dying. This was on the xbox version of the game. You can kind of do it with standard Soldier characters, like a clone trooper or Droid, but I found that they don't often stay wedged in that column doing the falling animation. The body eventually falls out and they stop giving drops. I used to fit multiple characters in there to increase the drops. May work best with Jedi and Sith.

If you do, and you respawn, he will float doing back flips dropping infinite loot. It's nice as you can actually heal and stay alive an entire game this way.

Fun fact you can repair the hoth shield generator too enabling its spawn again, and you can also do it in hunt mode you get an extra spawn point.
Regarding that rancor pickups glitch, there's another one similar that's often used online on Tatooine mos eisley, if you spawn as chewbacca at the hangar and sprint/jump on the front of the parked sail barge you'll glitch and get stuck in it and die, but it will constantly generates pickups.

At the map of Mos Eisley, North-West of the North Western command post, there is a part of the wall where you can jump into, and your character will start to fall until it dies, then continuing to fall and spin endlessly until the end of the match. While it looks funny, the corpse also spills out power and health pickups over time.
it's perfect for a very quick power up and heal during the heroes versus villains Assault mode.

So yes, you are absolutely correct that the "surface" top should be obvious conventioal information. After the death of Palpatine and Vader and the destruction of the second Death Star at Endor, the former members of the 501st rejoined the Empire for revenge.

Things I would add that you can add to the ice cube
Along with being able to repair the shield generator
You are also able to repair the life support system.
It is extremely extremely slow but it is possible
Also in one of the maps you are also able to glitch yourself into the damaged shield generator and actually somehow repair one of your support ships if it is still alive
Though I think it's only for the CIS
In polis masa the outside section that the tanks spawn and fight in
Layla with her healing ability can aid her and a group of rebels into surviving a treck from your side of spawn to the enemies. The bothan spy can as well
Any sith that can use force lighting or force choke can do it infinitly if you use it and then switch abilities while still holding the button.
For characters that can use both makes whoever you aim it at die extremely fast
There is a rank system which also allows you to command a set amount of soldiers per rank to follow you.
Which works for every unit and every faction except heros
Where the soldiers will be told to leave you alone.
You can repair the shield generator on both
Theory is that the story isn't being narrated by a single soldier specifically but by random soldiers throughout the journey and history of the 501st as the campaign is based on them and you play as a nameless soldier and when you die your another nameless soldier
Which is why even though the 501st loses a lot of members or gets split into specific units as the campaign goes on you still have someone narrating it
The game is entirely co op and can be played in split screen even the campaign last I checked.
A light saber blocking can block all damage in a 180 degrees in front of them
From blaster.shots to missles to a fucken At At
There was also the storm trooper versions of luke and han solo in the code

  • @ihatefortnightgivemeareaso5659

I have a theory that after order 66 and the 501st is renamed into Vaders Fist he had the advanced aging reverse engineered to make sure his solders are still at peek physical performance would make a bit more sense when fighting on Hoth

  • @Bencehhh123
    @Bencehhh123 Рік тому

There is an extension to the Hoth Iceberg. You can repair the Rebel Shield generator once again after its destroyed. Even in other gamed modes if you have a repair man. I highly recommend to repair it in the capture the flag mode (set to maximum stats) so the game will be longer. In the other hand the shield generator takes more time to repair, but when it's repaired it will function as a respawn point for the rebels. Sometimes they stick around the shield generator, its also possible that they will walk to the hangar. Also, sometimes fellow Imperials visit you while you repair the shield generator then they go back.
When the shield is repaired, (takes around 20-22 minutes alone, if you have the flag, it might be faster) the rebel npc-s will start spawning, and then you can lure them out to the edge of the map (the other side where the AT-AT's come) where their AI becomes crazy when they are lured out to the other corner of the map. When the Imperial dies, sometimes the rebels pick up the flag, sometimes not and then the flag resets, but then the rebels start wandering on the empty part of Hoth while the rest fights for the flag. If my theory correct the shield generator gives extra rebel units aswell to the fight.

12:50 another interesting way to pull off this effect is on maps where you can die by falling out of bounds you can blow yourself up and launch yourself off the map and because the grenade explosion is giving you a long death animation and you’re falling out of bounds you hit the kill barrier and then it spawns a bunch of stuff in the void. I used to go to the ledge by the dual lava bridge command point on Mustafar and launch my self and get to watch my body fall out of bounds and look up from under the map
