Refinement from the engine is almost the same on both. But BMW's seat is the most comfortable one. 390 can give you more power than 310 for sure. Choose based on that.
Hahah I wonder how do you get to ride the European versions of KTM bikes in India! The console is much different and awesome and so is the exhaust position and its much more lighter.
390 adventure has more power and features and lower on maintenance. I have test ridden the 310gs and have to tell you it looks great in person though the 390 not so much. In the end test ride both n see what FEELS right for YOU. I would go for 390adv though.

There are no major vibrations at 140kmph, other than a slight feel on the foot pegs.
