    I have this rig also. Unfortunatly the TX went out of it. Having it repaired now. Also have a sweet Knwd TS-830s. Now theres a radio !!!

    The TX is out on mine too, sadly. Has been for many months now as I haven't taken the time to repair it myself or have it done. Considered unloading it as a 'tech special' several times, but I don't really want to do that.

    The one that is 'working'. ;) I mostly use 20M, 40M and 10M. I'm a big fan of 17 and 12 though as I've had some good times on those as well.

    Yes Gregory i know what you mean. When I get mine back I will try to let you know what it was.. Looking now at a power transistor being shorted. I have no voltage at the #2 mic pin and no TX voltage at the back underside of the rig at the test points.
