I'm sure Jean felt it even harder, since this happened right at the concert he was playing and (almost) right at his home town..... and then when you think about it, as far as general infos go, Jean left Sepultura for personal reasons and for not feeling his best while travelling around for too long, away from his family and all. Makes sense to think that James' words meant a lot to him.
All in all Jean is a really down to earth guy and a fantastic drummer, tbh I miss him in Sepultura.
