- Welcome to TomFM! In today's Football Manager 2022 video we have an FM22 experiment for you and I gave every national league team £1 billion to spend to find out what happens. Non League teams aren't known for their money so I thought I'd give them a helping hand with by using the FM22 in game editor to magic up lots of money for these national league non league teams. This is the first of many Football Manager 2022 experiments on the channel.

I guess we're just gonna ignore Liverpool winning the Championship in the 19th season 😅
😆
And Everton won the Premier league the same season lol
😂😂
Relegated LOL 😂😂😂
You should do this but in reverse, so put every prem club 1Bil in debt and see who takes the longest to recover
Is that an extra billion of debt or would everyone just catch up with Spurs?
@@timokaaarp7779 affordable debt, just like a mortgage on your house.
@@perrysmith1838 affordable debt for now.
City and Newcastle: oh shit
next day
*farms oil
City and Newcastle: never mind
@@KenLikeEh123 well, I mean, debt is relative to your means on income. If spurs start spending badly, get caught out for FFP or don't make CL it's no longer affordable.
As far as I know, the sudden loss of 200+mil isn't actually a loss, it's just been sent to the coffers for a rainy day. So basically if they ever get into financial trouble, they have that as a backup.
yeah its been sent to the coffers for a rainy day.. *wink wink nudge nudge*
As a Grimsby fan, I knew it was too good to be true.
I am also deeply offended to be put into that much debt 😂
@@matthewdixon1564 still better than Fenty though.
I'm a Grimsby town fan too
Only reason I started watching 😂
I was about to state is this guy a Scunthorpe United fan 😂😂
Liverpool winning the Championship in ‘40, love to see it 😂
I want a series where tess is director of football picking signings by sniffing her preferred signings and formations
I'm tempted to try and record it. Not sure how it would work hahaha
Ahhh I nearly gave you a like until you did that to Grimsby 🙄 grimsby fan
I did a save with PSV till 2049 on FM20 where my finances were above 700/800million consistently. The board decided to invest 200m in a fund so that the money+interest could be used later. The other expenses might be something similar 🤔
can Tess have a place in the Wrexham backroom staff with Genna and Andrey
You didn't show us Grimsby :(
The National League is a very good standard. I went to Dagenham & Redbridge v Altrincham a few weekends ago. Best live game of football I’ve seen for ages. Technically and tactically superb. People think it’s all direct football and 4-4-2. It’s not.
There's no way National League players are technical mate.
@@hananidrisi6436 compared to the sunday league level that 99.9% of fans are at or worse than, they're still very very good. just because they're worse than the best in the world doesn't mean they're trash
@@hananidrisi6436 there's no way it's not technical. I don't think you realise how good the players at the top are
@@mmw4990 at the top? National League ain't the top mate.
@@hananidrisi6436 are you illiterate? He's saying players at the top are so good that we think national league players suck, when in reality they're still gifted
All the dislikes are Grimsby fans
When you think about it, all the money they're spending on domestic transfers is only strengthening the other clubs on the receiving end.
The most unexpected thing about this experiment was Liverpool Won the championship and Everton won the Premier League in the 39/40 season
Anyone notice that Liverpool won the Championship, Everton won the Prem also
I think it has to do with club reputation since they're not able to attract top tier talent. If you could do an experiment increasing a team's reputation to 5 stars that would be great!
Haven’t bought a new FM game since FM20, so excited to get FM22!
So you only skipped one….? Lol
I am always interested to see if there is a difference between teams becoming successful whether then get 1bn up front and just go, or they get 200m per year as a sponsorship or something for 5 years. Which way would encourage more success.
Out of interest what happened to Grimsby... assume they were relegated quite early on?
Propably as they were 1 billion pound in debt
Up the mariners 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🐟
Stunning and brave appearance by Tess. ❤️
A generational talent ❤
@@TomFM my dog is called tess
I'm a new sub to the channel, I am from Panama, I was thiking of you giving 1 billion maybe to my national team, since they have been doing really well in Concacaf world cup qualification... Thank you!
So every team gets a billion apart from Grimsby?
I nearly subbed aswell but him been so petty towards the mariners makes me wanna petty aswell
Yep
2:27 editing masterpiece
lol
can't believe you missed gattuso was the wrexham manager
‘No other teams in league one that were in the national league then’
Chesterfield, who were mentioned 1 minute ago:
STOCKPORT I BEEN TO THAT STADIUM AND LIVED THERE AMAZING HOW THEY WON LOL
We've won it in real life today too! GET IN! 🔵⚪
disliked the video as principle (UTM)
U MISSED LIVERPOOL THEY GOT RELEGATED LMAO
For me,I gave FC Andorra 150000 Fans when the game came out, they still can't stay up in LA Liga
13:21 the Steve Gibson park? 😂🤣
What I would like to know is how come in football manager 23 I have been managing Coventry City for nine years not spent a lot of money have over 1 billion in the bank, but it is now saying that my Club is in the red. It’s not possible to be in the red as I am not spending I am only selling. I think there is a floor as I’ve gone round the clock. The real amount of money I have is about 1.38 billion . Can anyone explain?
If you visit the Racecourse ground, you will realize why we will never leave it.
It's so iconic
That 250 million could have been put into a future fund, sometimes the board does that when theres an excess of spare cash
West ham fan but I always take over Grimsby in fifa (when they're in the game) and FM, so I've developed a soft spot for them. Sad to see you putting them into administration 😂 utm!!
Newcastle Simulator
Ooh, such a beautiful dog, Tom, so sweet :) Seems like my question about the dog, during the interview, affected someone's thinking, haha! Anyway, thank you for the video - always great to see a good classic experiment!
Test like these show you how little chairman want to actually upgrade their clubs even if given free money
ok let me just recorrect myself i heard you just mention the grimsby with negative balance.... harsh lol but also 1 bill balance, 1 bill transfer funds and what did you say half a mill wage budget. you do realise thats more than the 1 bill budget right.... if anywhere to spend all that they would drop to a negative balance. would love to see one where you make all vanarama national, north and south sounds 1bill balance. give them like i dunno 10mill transfer balance and whatever the FFP is for League 2. plus maybe do some of the teams in the leagues below aswell. to see if any of them make their way into the playable leagues
We should probably retire "Give them a billion" because it's always there same. Nothing really happens. The problem is that giving them the money doesn't give clubs the raise in reputation that they would get if it happened in real life. If a club in the national league was suddenly 4x richer than newcastle, they wouldn't have the same reputation as Grimsby. You have to change their rep yourself. The game doesn't account for it so it's never as interesting as it should be. Also, if all of the clubs were superrich then the price of even the most modest players would skyrocket.
There was a guy at Wrexham who has 140 ability and 155 potential and he is from Liechtenstein.
Would love a part 2
Please don’t do what you did to Grimsby to Scunthorpe if you do this in FM23
1billion to every national league team.... is that vanarama national or does that include north/south too. seems like a brill experiment either way
If money is less than you suspect, ALWAYS think of tax first!
To do your simulations, do you just load in as an unemployed manager and “go on holiday,” and leave your computer running all day?
think you couldn’t see us for this episode🤣, you didn’t see us in NL and didn’t see us in L1
Strange how Stockport and Wrexham actually finished top 2
First thing I thought was ahh it'll be interesting to see grimsby with a billion
can't believe you didn't check what had happened to grimsby.
Disliked because you didn't have it fair destroying Grimsby
Never seen your channel before, you come up on recommended so I watch the video having never played FM in my life and to hear the words 'I'm a Lincoln City fan, so Grimsby can have - 100mil' was music to my ears🤩 UTI
Ahhhh too bad this isn't real am I right? enjoy national league, hey maybe you'll get in a video for once when the season starts!
The only reason why I liked and Subscribed is because the doggo said so 🙂
definitely curious to see how it pans out further but i honestly think them not spending on facilities and stadium will have slowed them down, possibly they needed the facilities to attract better talent and staff
Boston United.. pride of Lincolnshire 💛🖤💛🖤
I clicked on this being a grimsby fan 😂⚫⚪⚫⚪
Can we see all championship clubs be given 1 billion
Note to self- become a billionaire and give it all to Aldershot
Let's go another 20 years and see if other teams can make it into the Premier League, also Tess is a cute pup :D
You do not have enough subs lemme help with that :)
How do you jump into the future so quickly
Clicked for a great video, stayed for the great dog
looks like you missed an edit at 2:28
Do the FM devs ever watch any community videos? Their finances have always been absolutely shithouse and hasn’t changed since FM14 - one of the reason why I’m still on a save on it 😂 You’d think they’d listen to the end users, but I guess they’re too busy blowing Pedri for their next promo video.
Up the Grimsby slander UTI
Can you do this for Scotland?
Or give all of Scotland top youth facilities and large stadiums?
Next time u could choose a team who cannot change the nothing like any clubs from other nation, and be thei manager
Then (In this case) Make every team from the league a permanent affiliate club
And then u will have every league highlighted
Easier to follow
Crazy thought - Jeff Bezos could make this happen in real life and wouldn't even miss the money
Liverpool got relegated last season u saw
We’re not talk about Liverpool?
This is my nightmare seeing Chesterfield and Notts County with a bullion pound
The chairmain took a loan on 0% intrest
Do a prem video 100 years in the future but focus on records… see what the true unbreakable’s are…
Maybe highlights that they need to do more in the way of charman AI and regarding the rise and fall of football clubs
COMMENTING FOR THE ALGORITHM
NO WONDER STOCKPORT WON THEY GOT WILL FISH FROM MANCHESTER UNTIED LMAO I BOUGHT HANNIBAL TO
Chesterfield start in national league
As an Altrincham fan seeing The Mighty Robins in the football league makes me hapy
Good vid but you need to move yourself to the right of the screen. We can’t see the table where you are 😁
Should do the same thing but for all Yorkshire clubs and add the 'front end' option
5:05 Kings Lynn my local team and we got relegated In real life but we still stayed up in that
8:08 less go finally
How can you not like the video with a doggo like that. And yes go on further mate. Want to see atleast 50 years
you limited them with wage bugets
Only here for the dog!
Yo Mr Tom where did you download the badges and real names etc? I also liked the video because Tess told me too!
The 200 mill is either 1 of 2 things tax or the board have put it away for a rainy day.
What you should do to balance this out is give every national league team a top reputation without the money then see how it goes.
Love this and by far best video I’ve seen for FM22 as I love the lower leagues and non league football, I downloaded an add that goes down to level 10 on the football ladder, might do the same with isthmian premier league where my local team plays and see how they do
Question.....how do you managed to 'fast forward' so many seasons so quickly?
Good computer with only the English leagues loaded and then on the home screen you click go on vacation and set how far into the future you want to go
I subscribed because of the dog
Question what's the difference between FM mobile and FM touch
Don't give SA ideas...
Just wondering, why didnt ypu use the pre-game editor?
In game is so much quicker for something like this, at least in my opinion!
Why kind of dog is that?
As a Barnsley fan, pretty happy with being in the prem by 2031, not too happy with the 20 points tho
OMG Duc Phuc , i like your cover version. Love it !
12:59 Eddie Howe Arena 😂
Could the 250mil be payouts to shareholders?
Better do this next year when Boston United is in the national league
Commenting for Tess. Do another video further in the future too
I would lmao if the mariners did better than lincoln
