I loove this! thanks so much. The fact that I think this may be the same choir that Dennis used in his pacific ocean blue album, cause I recognize the one dude at the piano, playing. since there is this footage of the "River music video" and it had him in it, and in the song River he used some sort of choir for it.
This is soooo good!!!! Love when the guy playing the piano gets up - and the piano keeps on playing...by itself.... 😂😂😂 Soooooo... Was the audio recorded before or after this video/film recording?
I heard somewhere that there were two takes of this song, and this is a combination of those takes. I would like to actually just the take without the piano sometime.
Seeing Brian come out of his shell, and Billy Hinsche hidden amongst the choir, both very moving.
Wished they'd used this version on "15 Big Ones." It has so much heart and soul!
Glad I woke up this Sunday morning, don’t have to go to church today. Thanks for the new video treasure.
one of my fav cute lil vids of Brian

Yes, it's the same choir as on River Song.
That's Alexander Hamilton, the director/conductor of the Double Rock Baptist Choir, he sadly passed away last year
Love this version, prefer it to the album cut ❤
Could have been a hit?
"Oh happy day" was...
"My sweet lord" was...

Saw the TV special. Still have audio now on cd. Is hard to find. Was great to see Brian back.
do we know why they just stuck Billy Hinche in the choir
Probably just because he wanted to sing with them.
