Very nice dehydrator. I subscribe to all your UA-cam channels and always like or give you a thumbs up to your videos. Can you make a suggestion to the company Tri Best, to include a wing nut type of screw to remove and install the filter housing instead of a standard phillips head screw. This allows the owner to remove and replace the housing without the use of any tools. Example: most vacuum cleaners can have their filters changes by unscrewing a knob or wing nut that has a screw built into the wing nut. The other option would be is to have screw/wing nut as an option.
John, I'm in the market for the best quality dehydrator money can buy. And money/cost not being an issue, which on would you go with, this one or the Excalibur EXC10EL? Looking forward to your response to this, thanks a lot in advance :-) :-) :-)
Iñaki Aguirre Of course the $1000 All stainless excalibur is a better "quality" piece.. Its all stainless and made in the USA. ua-cam.com/video/ktYC8xCUMsU/v-deo.html. For the rest of us, the Sedona Express is a high quality unit that won't break the bank like a $1k dehydrator...
hey john! i'm looking to buy a dehydrator & am mostly interested in Tribest. which one of their machines do you recommend? original sedona, combo, or express? do you have pros & cons of each? it's just a huge investment & i want to make sure i buy the best bang for my buck. thank you!
tall vegan girl The best one in my opinion is the Sedona Express. There are pros and cons to each. The Express has less cons. I will do a video comparing the Sedona Combo and Sedona Express. The Combo is basically the original with the TST and RAW mode, which the original unit did not have. The main cons to the prior versions is the fans do not flow enough air in my opinion, so it takes longer to dehydrate.
