I appreciate the Tech Tips but wish there were a lot more. I maintain our shops SS1 and look to UA-cam when I need to troubleshoot something. The Tech Tips are good for general knowledge but now I'm looking for something more in-depth. I end up having to look elsewhere for more indirect solutions to my problems and wish I could get it directly from the source. Our shop is a Maker Space, meaning a lot of beginners use this machine all the time. So things get reset incorrectly, accidentally changed, and just misused in general. It's a full time job trying to keep up with the amount of maintenance and corrections this one machine requires and it would make it a lot easier if there were more technical Tech Tips directly from Laguna. So far I have had to re-align the bridge after someone ran it into something stationary off of the table a couple different times, replace the x-axis stepper motor after the bearings went out, replace the screw drive after those bearings went out, replace the drive belts for the y-axis drive, replace the handheld multiple times for a variety of different reasons, and now am struggling with getting the handheld parameters back to it's original settings. I hope this will give you some inspiration for some more More Technical Tech Tips in the future. I know I would sure appreciate some videos geared towards the more technical side of machine operation and maintenance. Thanks for your videos so far. Keep it up. I'll be watching.
