@@satrontr1379 It still does, a 10 level difference is massive. I agree though, the time it takes should be cut down significantly especially during TH12 and TH13....... It's going to be TH17 soon so having a massive months long grind for those lower TH levels is unnecessary.

and another one. please don't buy glowy ore or starry ore using gems guys. go higher league for more ores and just use your raid medal to buy more ores. so save all your gems for BOH until level 80 nothing else. (except if you don't have epic equipment or apprentice builder yet)

Followed closely by the Builder’s Apprentice, which would be #1 except for the extremely long time to breakeven on your investment coupled with the super high gem cost to max him out.

Simple question: max heroes with lvl1 def, or max def with lvl1 heroes? Obv max heroes, so BoH is the best choice. When u have max heroes, ho for starry ores. Max epic equipment is difficult.

Also while the AB may offer longer term gains, once gotten, it remains a huge investment. Using your 100 gems a week for free guide, means you need to wait 65 weeks (so 15 months) to even get it to max. I feel like this factor may be missing in your calculations.

are your attacks going well? if yes then I would suggest to save the gems for now just in case equipments receive more balance changes (wait till th17 arrives) if not then buy Gauntlet as that's overall better than Frozen Arrow as its more versatile
hero potions only add 5 levels, you will still need to level up your heroes eventually and im not spending an entire week with one of my heroes being unusable. the book of heroes probably still is one of the best ways to spend gems
they up till max level right now, not just 5 level. but i hope supercell nerf it abit, maybe just adding 10 or 15 level, not max it out, that was too op
The biggest pro for the book of heroes is that you don't have to compromise your offence so it's not fair to compare it to other books
