Are you trying to make the argument that 90's country music is the same as the garbage country on radio today just older? Because if you had any idea what you're talking about you'd know Alan Jackson was part of the NEO TRADITIONALIST country music movement and was trying to make music like the 40's/50's (he wore hank Williams t shirt and sings about him a lot in his songs) Traditional country fans during the 90's would not complain about a neo-traditional country musician trying to return country to it's original style.

In all genres of music, there are songs that stand out. Those that you recognize in the first five notes. This is one of the most iconic guitar riffs in music. As soon as you hear it, the smile can not be contained! This was not self penned, but it is a masterpiece.
I describe it as a "masterpiece" too.
I absolutely agree about that guitar intro. And here's a little thing about musicians: that unique intro is taken from an old 'Three Dog Night' song called "Shambala". And I'm sure that guitarist did it on purpose...almost like a tribute? No doubt Jackson loved it. Masterpiece fer sure.
